Hello ladiesofhive, how are you doing today. Hope my post reach you in good health. I missed last week contest because of challenges that took my time. I will love to say congrats to winners and welcome all of you to my blog this week.It this week contest, i want share with you job i will be terrible at..

cleaner🤦🏽‍♂️

The work of a cleaner involves a lot of work in the office or in the company. It could be cleaning of offices, tables, fan and anything you can think of inside the room. It can be cleaning the compound and it's surroundings.

Without cleaners, our road , streets will not be clean. They help in keeping our environment clean. I appreciate the work they do so much.

Why i will feel terrible at cleaner job

I will not lot love to be employed as a cleaner. I am not saying that working as a cleaner is bad. But it is one of the job that have low salary. People do look down on cleaners too. Sometimes their boss will ask them to repeat cleaning the table again claiming that is not clean. Many will like them to work overtime without increasing their salary.

In my state, those who are working under government as cleaners leave house by 3:am to sweep the major roads. They make sure to finish it before people start going to work. After that, they will start picking any trash that is by gotta side. They will pack everything to to where there is big dustbin. It is not an easy task. Sometimes i feel for them. Now ask me how much is their salary, something that is not enough to care for themselves and their family. Managing because half bread they say is better than none.

Another reason is that, cleaning work is demanding. You can not sweep room today without sweeping it tomorrow. And it has time. It must be early morning. You must clean offices before staffs will come to work. You must sweep the road before people stars using it. The body pain associated with cleaning work is much too. Though it brings money. I am absolutely terrible at cleaner job.

Conclusion

I am not saying that cleaner job is bad but to me, is a terrible job. I can do it but it will be temporary not a life time job. I thank you @ladiesofhive this contest. I appreciate everyone of your who will read and and add other things to cleaner job.

Honestly, my friend quit the job when she was harassed by street boys. It is not for ladies at all

Cleaning is a tough job and needs a whole lot of patience which is why I admire those who work in that field. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the prompt and good luck!

I understand why you think this way, cleaning job is a tough job to do, and it comes with little pay. I appreciate those that are doing it, like you said without them our environment will be a mess.

When we come in contact with them we can try to show them more kindness and love.

Hello @ijelady. I agree that cleaning in any type environment is a demanding position. Not everyone is suited to these type positions. I know when I worked in an office, the cleaning staff would arrive at night just as we were leaving for the day. I noticed that there were no smiled on their faces. I always tried to be pleasant and upbeat and tell them how much I appreciate their service in cleaning my office.

I understand what you are saying. Every now and again, I have to clean the office I work at and by the time I get done, I ache! I work in a small private optical shop as a licensed optician and office manager. Although cleaning really isn't part of my job, when my coworker who normally does this, goes on vacation, the duty falls to me. Not my favorite, but I do it nonetheless.

It's a tough job and the expectations are high and as you mention stretching on time without overtime can be challenging because not getting well paid for your efforts is demotivating. But in some places I see that this is a very demanding job and people get paid well for it, so I guess it's just about where it is
