#2 Quantum

Yesterday I published the first tile in the infinite doodle.

The prompt for the tile was "big bang." I thought that this would be a great starting point as it plays on the theory that all of the energy and matter of the known universe originated with a big bang 13.8 billion years ago.

The first tile touched on a big topic; So, I decided to leap in the opposite direction with the second tile which I titled "quantum" as the theory of quantum mechanics is part of the study of sub atomic mechanics.

Both the concept of the big bang and sub atomic physics are difficult to represent. The problem with efforts to visualize the entire universe is that everything in the universe is in the unverse; it is physically impossible to step outside the universe to take a photo of the universe.

I visualized a starburt as a starburst is a large explosion. A starburst exists within the unverse. This allows me to frame the explosion. However the big bang of creation is, as far as we know, contained within itself. The big bang must some how be its own frame work.

Subatomic physics is equally difficult to visualize as the quantum particals that physicists theorize exist are smaller than the photons that interface with our eyes which serves as the basis for our vision.

Physicists use a variety of abstract devices such as probability clouds to visualize subatomic particles.

So, for the basis of the second tile, I asked DALL-E 2 to generate images of quantum and probability clouds.

The AI generated image is intended to be the start of the creation process and not the end.

I will mint the NFT later tonight. The generated image is the start of the process. I will post additional comments below as I develop the work.
