#1 Big Bang

Welcome to the Infinite Doodle!

This account will create a collection of art works that expand in an unbound multidimensional grid.

I decided to create a new account for this project as I hope that it will develop into a group art project.

I thought about creating my own NFT collection for the Infinite Doodle. After analzying the different NFT offers on HIVE, I decided that PalNet would be the best location for the doodle.

To get the project started I bought 24,000 PAL. As I understand, it costs 600 PAL to create an NFT and 100 for each edition. So, an NFT with five editions would cost 1000 PAL. 1000 PAL is currently worth about $0.05 ... a nickel.

I think that this is an incredible deal.

I would love input from the PalNet community on whether or not the community thinks that PalNet is the best place for this project.

I would be happy to relocate to a different tribe if the doodle is counter to the objectives of the tribe.

The Infinite Doodle Grid

I intend for the tiles to be connected by a binary tree in a three dimensional grid. I will discuss the creation of the doodle on my personal account @yintercept.

Thw two main advantages of creating a new account is that the new account provides a namespace for the doodles.

Using a sepearate account allows me to develop the doodle as a group project. Once the basic design is in place, I hope to release the account to the group of artists that develops the doodle.

The Prompts

Each doodle starts with a prompt. I decided that the first prompt would be "The Big Bang" as it appears that the universe that contains our planet started with a big bang. The second prompt will be the Sea of Life and so on.

In my initial design, an artist would start a work based on the prompt. The first artist would pass the work onto the next artist and so on. Essentially, the first artist might create a squiggle, the second artist could add more details to the squiggle and so one.

For example, I wanted to use the process to create SVG art. SVG stands for Scalar Vector Graphics.

One can image a piece of art that starts with a few lines on an SVG image. The second artist could add lines to the scalar image and so on.

SVG can create animated graphics. The group art project would create images that are animated as the image changes.

The problem with this process is that the initial artwork is not very compelling. However, the images might become compelling with time.

There is a potential for each tile in the infinite doodle to develop into a compelling NFT.

Unfortunately, the NFT world wants the initial picture to be compelling.

The advent of artificial intelligence allows me to create a compelling image from simple prompts. I could start each title by creating a prompt. I could then generate an AI image for the prompt.

I've been experimenting with the DALLE-2 program. I used images from DALL-E to create NFT memes on HiveMe.me.

An NFT is a unique identifier. My thoughts are that I could start each tile by creating a prompt. I would use the prompt to create an AI image.

I would use the AI image as the base for an NFT. I would create 5 editions of each NFT.

The first edition represents the AI version of the prompt. The second edition would an SVG edition of the prompt. The third edition would represent a freehand line drawing based on the prompt. The fourth would be a painting or colored drawing based on the prompt.

The picture at the top of this page shows an image created from the prompt "big bang."

I can use this image to create an NFT.

The first edition of the NFT would represent the AI image.

The second edition of the NFT would represent a SVG drawing based on the prompt.

The third edition would represent a free hand drawing of the NFT.

The fourth edition of the NFT would represent a painting or colored pencil creation of the image.

I plan on holding the fifth edition in the idoodle collection.

I will sell the first edition for the const of minting the NFT. I will give editions 2-4 to artists who want to parricipate in the program. I will keep the fifth edition in the collection.

I am writing a program that will allow users to interface with the infinite doodle.

For the momemt I will administer the infinite doodle through the comment section on my posts. Each doodle will have a link to the thread that controls the doodle.

After publishing this post, I will create the first NFT and post a link to the NFT as a comment. I have to publish this post to get the URL for the post.

Anyway, I am off to mint the first tile in the infinite doodle. I will drop a link after creating the NFT.
