Saturday Was A Blast... | IAAC Year 2
...not! Well, not the entire day, that is. It was a regular work day. Grocery run for my daughter was scheduled. She made a new routine for days like this... Pancakes for breakfast!
She likes McDonald's pancakes as she said they were thicker than the competitor's. 😂🤣I guess she's correct. The thing is we have made it a point to order breakfast plus lunch so it's two in one delivery. No one likes cooking much on the weekend. 😝😝
The best part of Saturday was the anticipation of what movie to watch for the night. Since it's grocery run day, it's a one-movie night. We didn't want it to be a chore to prep and enjoy the night away.
My work desk doubles as the screening area for the meantime. It will change eventually. One section at a time... One day at a time... Pica-pica while watching a movie & beer on the side 😉👍🏼
We watched a movie titled Nobody. Nice, huh? Just an ordinary title for an action movie that actually surprised us. Boy, it was fun to watch. 😂🤣 pretty good to feel a bit of release of some pent up emotions 😎😎 ahhh weekend movie night bonding is truly something to look forward to weekly.
Sunday is a bit quiet, with a bit of gardening on the side. I just planted my marigold seeds. That's for the first batch. I will prep the next batch for planting within the coming week. Next Sunday will be clean up day again. We gotta finish up packing Mom's stuff, as we have a schedule for pickup come October 30th. At least the clearing project is moving forward. More updates soon...

I generally do batch cooking in the weekends. But sometimes i skip that too.
Its good to order from outside or buy ready meals, very convenient.
