My Friend's Beach Travel at An Old Port Here In Manticao, Misamis Oriental

Yesterday, I invited my best friend to visit for the first time the old Port here in Manticao, Misamis Oriental. That was my first time to visit there even if I always passing by this place. I am very curious about what beautiful sceneries have in this area that is why, I planned to visit yesterday. My best friend accepted my request and we started to walked a few meters away from my friends house. It was a hot sunny day but we keep ignoring the heat just to visit this place, and I was very excited to be here and watching those beautiful sceneries in the old port.

First, we passes by in this area filled with coconut trees and some of the plants are already produced coconut fruits and ready for harvesting. The place was very cool because of the shady areas and even if it is near at the salty water, still the plants grow very healthy and abundant with fruits. This place is what I've always seen when I went to Punta Silum and it is near at the Main road. There is a road trail to all people who loves to visit at the beach and a clear water can be seen from afar.

This kind of plants contains a lot of thorns on its branches and it is very dangerous to step those thorns. It usually grows near at the coastal areas and people avoiding this kind of plants. It was a low tide when I traveled the shore and it was very lucky for us because of clear skies and low tide. The place is filled with sands that will surely enjoyed especially those beach goers and children for making a sand castles.

Every low tide, their are lots of people went to the shore to search more crabs and sea shells for their meals. In the midst of my travel adventure, I noticed these people busying for searching sea shells hid in the big stones. Even if it is already NOON TIME, still they keep themselves searching under the heat of the sun. This kind of place have lots of marine animals hiding just like crabs, shrimps and sea shells. Most of it are hiding under the sands or in rocks pools full of peebles and sands.

This rock formations are very fascinating and it looks like a solid concrete. There are many smalls channels on which the water flows on it and shiny surface. I really amazed the time when I seen this kind of stones and the sands above it was completely washed out by sea water. It gives the place a fascinating and great views.

This is an old and abandoned port here in Manticao, it filled with big rocks as a foundation and alloy rocks brought by the ships and barge during operation time. Because of the strong winds and waves splashing to the place, the solid concrete also collapsing and submerged down to the sea water. Those rocks that serve as a foundation started to appeared and the place contains a depp and shallow water was already gone and filled with more sands and stones.

Animals like birds and dogs are having fun running at the shore. As we continued to walked on the shore, I noticed this Dove and a dog in the place. I tried to captured the doves while picking at the sand but it flews away and the dog also run away. Most of the residents here owned this small boats use for fishing and it helps them a lot on there way of living and a source of income. There are lots of beautiful and fascinating place hidden in this area and some of it are not yet discovered.
