How Did My First Job Change My Life?

(Edited)

A different contest pop up yesterday and I made my mind to write about my very First Job of my life. I would like to read about your stories too. Let's talk about what type of Job I did and what i earned through...

First Earning....

I got my masters degree from the well-known University of Islamabad where I got internship offer due to my CGPA even before completing the degree. One semester was remaining but I chose to work as I got selected. I had to learn and work in internship on Yii PHP Framework. They were paying me 10k PKR for necessities only.

At the same place, I met one of the teacher's brother who was working as a freelancer on Freelancer.com where he was providing academics stuff. He chose me to do some academics assignments for people from abroad and he will be paying half of the amount. I accepted and started to work on academic assignments of overseas students on different subjects especially computer science and programming.

This is how I started to earn actually and this fascinates me a lot that if this man could work as a freelancer and get orders from international folks then why can't I start to work on the same platform.

I rather choose Fiverr for working on web-development projects where I slowly started to get orders from international clients and I was cloud on moon since I stepped out of my comfort zone.

Why I left my first job?

I was learning so much from that internship aka job even I learnt then I chose to left because of certain reasons including I was started to earn by myself. This is why I never applied to any forum or any organisation to get job. It was becoming too hard to manage two things paralleled for me.

Will I ever go back?

No, because that was just an Internship which I am considering it as a job. My actual job started from freelancing so I would never go back there. Of course, I will never forget my baseline that's how all started.

The turning point...

Sir Imran's brother was the turning point for me who gave me an idea that how could you earn by staying at home peacefully. In fact, earning from freelancing could lead to a successful career for sure if one take it seriously. Earning dollars being a Pakistani has significant advantages.

Wrapping Up...

As a beginner, you learned a lot from your very first job of your life where the actual journey get started to teach you a lot. This considered as a baseline so put your heart into it and focus on your goals to achieve bigger. Make your goals list bigger than your capacity. It will help to get you there where you wanted to see yourself. Be smart and go with flow.

Thanks for reading if you reaching to the last sentence of this blog post...<3
