Sigue mi aventura musical ¡Aprendizaje constante y en busca del adaptador de mi teclado!

Siempre tendremos la posibilidad de aprender cosas nuevas y eso es una de las características más hermosas de la vida, cuando dejamos de aprender podemos llegar a sentir que la vida pierde un poco su sentido. Desde que nacemos estamos en constante aprendizaje pero luego al llegar a la etapa adulta, quizá podemos dar por sentado el conocimiento, llegando a pensar que ya aprendimos todo lo que debíamos y no nos cuestionamos qué más podemos aprender para que nuestra vida sea aún más interesante.

We will always have the possibility of learning new things and that is one of the most beautiful characteristics of life, when we stop learning we may feel that life loses its meaning. Since we are born we are constantly learning but then when we reach the adult stage, perhaps we can take knowledge for granted, coming to think that we already learned everything we should and we do not question what else we can learn to make our life even more interesting.

Al crear contenido para la blockchain, sí tenemos suficiente interés, estaremos en constante apredizaje. Este es un vasto universo y es una de las cosas que me gusta de crear contenido para blockchain.

When creating content for blockchain, if we have enough interest, we will be constantly learning. This is a vast universe and it's one of the things I like about creating content for blockchain.

A nivel musical recientemente me sumergí en el aprendizaje del teclado, como ya he dicho no creo que mi fuerte sea tocar instrumentos musicales pero he podido dominar un poco algunos de ellos como el cuatro venezolano y la guitarra clásica hasta el punto de poder crear canciones originales, creaciones que están intimamente ligadas a mi experiencia como creadora de contenido para la blockchain.

On a musical level I recently immersed myself in learning the keyboard, as I said I don't think my forte is playing musical instruments but I have been able to master a bit some of them like the Venezuelan cuatro and the classical guitar to the point of being able to create original songs, creations that are intimately linked to my experience as a content creator for the blockchain.

Las clases de teclado son una mezcla de teoría musical y prácticas, hasta ahora hemos ahondado más en el primer aspecto pues el profesor desea que manejemos algo más de teoría antes de adentrarnos más en la práctica. Aunque ya nos compartíó la partitura de Oda a la Alegría de Beethoven, popularmente conocida como Himno a la Alegria, un arreglo para niños que debemos dominar.

The keyboard classes are a mix of music theory and practice, so far we have delved more into the first aspect as the teacher wants us to handle some more theory before going deeper into practice. Although he already shared with us the score of Beethoven's Ode to Joy, popularly known as Hymn to Joy, an arrangement for children that we must master.

Tengo un teclado marca Casio muy básico, si llego a aprender teclado al nivel que deseo podría invertir en uno más avanzado, pero por el momento este será el que me sirva para mis prácticas musicales. Este teclado recuerdo haberlo prestado por un tiempo a un Coro donde canté por varios años, que de hecho fundé junto a una amiga y un amigo: La Coral Polifonica de Oriente. Pero con el uso se fue dañando el adaptador, por tanto tengo un teclado...sí...pero que no sonaba. Así que me di a la tarea de buscar ese adaptador, lo hice con prisa, pues en mi antepenúltima clase el profesor nos dijo que debíamos practicar la Oda a la Alegría.

I have a very basic Casio keyboard, if I get to learn keyboard to the level I want I could invest in a more advanced one, but for the moment this will be the one I use for my musical practices. I remember lending this keyboard for a while to a choir where I sang for several years, which in fact I founded with a friend and a friend: La Coral Polifonica de Oriente. But with the use the adapter was damaged, so I have a keyboard...yes...but it did not sound. So I set myself the task of looking for that adapter, I did it in a hurry, because in my penultimate class the teacher told us that we had to practice the Ode to Joy.

El primer intento para ubicar el adaptador fue infructoso, el chico de la tienda musical me dijo que debía llevar el teclado para probar el adaptador. Al día siguiente volví con el teclado, luego de subir unos cuantos escalones llegué al lugar. El chico hizo la prueba con dos adaptadores y ninguno funcionó. Me indico que era porque esa entrada tenía la polaridad invertida , hice como que entendía lo que él decía y me fuí pensando dónde podría conseguir el adaptador.

The first attempt to locate the adapter was unsuccessful, the guy at the music store told me that I had to bring the keyboard to test the adapter. The next day I returned with the keyboard, after climbing a few steps I arrived at the place. The guy tested two adapters and neither worked. He told me that it was because that input had the inverted polarity, I pretended to understand what he was saying and left thinking where I could get the adapter.

Recordé otra tienda donde venden instrumentos musicales, a la cual ya había ido algunos meses atrás buscando el regulador sin obtener un buen resultado, y me aventuré nuevamente a hacer un segundo intento. Esta vez no tuve que subir escaleras cargando el teclado (¡Gracias a Dios). El primer adaptador que ella probó no funcionó, luego de eso y de ver que mis esperanzas de conseguir el adaptador se iban diluyendo le dije a la chica que me atendió que me habían dicho en otro lugar que este teclado tenía la polaridad invertida. Entonces ella buscó otro adaptador que si funcionó, luego me enteré que era el último que quedaba, me costo $35. No lo veo económico pero al asumir un compromiso hay que hacer lo que hay que hacer.

I remembered another store where they sell musical instruments, to which I had already gone some months ago looking for the regulator without getting a good result, and I ventured again to make a second attempt. This time I didn't have to climb stairs carrying the keyboard (thank God). The first adapter she tried didn't work, after that and seeing that my hopes of getting the adapter were fading I told the girl who attended me that I had been told elsewhere that this keyboard had the reversed polarity. Then she looked for another adapter that did work, then I found out it was the last one left, it cost me $35. I don't see it as economical but when making a commitment you have to do what you have to do.

He estado practicando la pieza y siento que he avanzado bastante, ya la domino mejor, aunque a veces los dedos parece que se mueven solitos. Es interesante el grado de concentración que debo tener para poder tocar esta sencilla pieza y digo sencilla porque sé que el arreglo que nos dieron para practicar es sumamente sencillo por la forma en que está escrito y aún así para una principiante como yo tiene gran dificultad. Lo primero que hice fue leer la pieza, tratar de entender el tiempo y luego pasé a practicar en el teclado, primero una mano y luego la otra, ambas deben tocar algo diferente. He allí el reto.

I have been practicing the piece and I feel that I have made a lot of progress, I have mastered it better, although sometimes my fingers seem to move by themselves. It is interesting how much concentration I have to have to be able to play this simple piece. I know that the arrangement they gave us to practice is extremely simple because of the way it is written, and even so, for a beginner like me, it is very difficult. The first thing I did was to read the piece, try to understand the tempo, and then I went on to practice on the keyboard, first one hand and then the other, both must play something different. That's the challenge.

Esta aventura representa para mi algo nuevo, es una bocanada de aire fresco a nivel musical, espero poder aprender a tocar el teclado a un nivel que me permita acompañarme con mis canciones originales. ¡Pensar en eso me da mucha alegría!

This adventure represents something new for me, it's a breath of fresh air on a musical level, I hope I can learn to play the keyboard at a level that allows me to accompany myself with my original songs, the thought of that gives me a lot of joy!
