I think they used to have one in Del Mar when I lived in San Diego..but I never made it there!
I love that they start to plant sunflowers now...and I LOVE that they let you take 5 tulips home with you!!! hehehe
by the way, I just planted some sunflower seeds last week and they are all popping up now
I planted three kinds heheheh
I can't wait to watch them! especially the mammoth that grows 12 feet high!!!! hahahahaha
so so so fun!!!
leaving today (for 10.days) and they are currently about 2.5 inches tall...
my son is in charge of watering and watching the plants for me...I wonder how tall they will be when I get home! hahahahah

You would love the tulip farm! I want to live there it is so beautiful! The wooden shoes (Klompen in Dutch) are such a hoot. We have our own from when we lived over there. Ah... the good old days. I still wear mine in the garden as they are the perfect garden shoes. They are even waterproof, by nature nothing we did.
I am excited to see how your sunflowers do! In July, I will be scouting out the sunflower fields around here! I am tres excited about it and seeing your progress!
