Contents Creative Sunday: Nutritious zucchini and carrot omelet -Recipe-

Today I join the Creative Sunday initiative to share a delicious and nutritious zucchini and carrot omelet accompanied by an Arabic bread toasted in the pan, taking advantage early in making this healthy breakfast before starting the daily chores, Last night, my son expressed his desire to enjoy an omelet, and as we also had Arabic bread, I decided to complement the breakfast with this delicious combination.

Without further ado, here are the ingredients and the step-by-step:

#Ingredients:

- 2 Arabian breads
-1/2 zucchini
-1 carrot
-3 eggs
-Pepper to taste
-Cheese llanero to taste
-Salt to taste
-Oil to spread
-Oregano to taste
-1 tomato
-1/4 paprika to taste
-1 onion to taste

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥 𝕓𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕡:

  • In a bowl, add the eggs, salt and pepper; beat vigorously until these ingredients are combined. Set aside.

  • Wash and grate the zucchini with its skin.

  • Wash the carrot, remove the skin and grate it.

  • Wash the paprika, julienne the onion and chop the tomato into rounds.

  • Grate the cheese. Set aside.
  • Add the zucchini, paprika, onion and carrots to the beaten eggs. Mix well so that all the ingredients are perfectly combined.

  • Heat the frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil.

  • Pour the mixture into the hot pan, spread it well and let it cook on one side.

  • When the tortilla is ready, turn it over with the help of a plate. Once it is done on the other side, sprinkle grated cheese and oregano, and let it cook for a few minutes. When it is golden brown, remove it from the pan and place the Arabic bread. Then, transfer the tortilla back to the pan, let it toast and place the tomato slices on top. Close and remove from the heat when it is golden brown.

Let's cut to taste and enjoy.

    • This zucchini and carrot omelet is a healthy option, you can eat it alone or accompanied as we did.
    • A thousand blessings.

Wow, this looks yummy. I really wish to have a taste of your snack.

I am wondering if the shawarma bread is also Arabian bread because yours looks tick and fresh. Plus I haven't used cheese before probably because I don't bake...

If the bread is the same, I'm glad you liked it, I added cheese and it tastes good and I made it in the pan, thanks for stopping by!
