HOW TO PREPARE NIGERIAN TOASTED BREAD/SANDWICH πŸ₯ͺ

Hey lovelies ❀️
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese 😍
Welcome to my blog πŸ€—

Growing up, I was a big fan of bread. I love bread so much that I can eat it every blessed day. It was much more easy for me (us) to get bread because we had a bakery close to my house. Every evening when my father is coming back from work he will surely stop by to buy some hot loaves of bread for us. One of the quick breakfast we use to have to school back in those days is toasted bread also called toasted sandwich πŸ₯ͺ. It got more interesting when I learnt how to make toast bread the local way when I got to the university using frying pan.

I had toasted bread to work this morning and I enjoyed it. Even though there was no power supply, I had to put the generator on for some few minutes. I already bought some sliced bread and sardine when I was going home the previous day, so I would not have to start rushing to buy them in the morning.

Toasted bread is a fast meal that is ready for your enjoyment within 3 minutes to 5 minutes. It doesn't require so much stress and you can prepare it based on your individual preference. For me I decided to use just three major items - sliced bread, sardine and eggs. I actually fried my eggs, some people do not like to fry theirs. They break the fresh eggs inside the bread and toast just like that.

Ingredients
  • Sliced bread

  • Eggs

  • Sardine

  • Grounded pepper

  • Noodles (Indomie) spices

  • Vegetable oil

How to prepare
  • I started by frying my eggs and setting aside in a plate

  • Then I switch the sandwich toaster on so that it will start heating up, then I lay the first set of breads on the toaster

  • I added some eggs and sardine in the middle and I place another bread on it

  • Then I lock the toaster and allowed it to cook.

  • I waited until the light on the toaster changed to green which means it is done.

  • Repeat the process until you have done the number you want to do depending on the number of people who are eating.

  • I placed in a plate and food is ready.
Thank you for your time lovelies.
