Hello to my dear Hivers, and especially to the #StreetArt community in which I am again today to participate in this interesting Street Art Contest #148 here are the rules and regulations of the contest for whoever gets a wonderful piece of street art and wants to participate.

Here is my participation for this week:🌈

For today I bring you a mural that I came across in a very busy boulevard of Caracas in my city, I have already told you about it in other opportunities, but at that time I was in a hurry and when I passed by I quickly returned to make a few captures and I did not realize that right in the place where the author of the work was a motorcycle crossed which hid it.


But for me that is not a problem, when I got home and sat down to examine the captures, I helped myself with an image search engine, I got the mural, its authors and a review in English about it.


The one who is captured in the work, is a Uruguayan journalist and writer named Eduardo Galeano, this mural is inspired by him and several books of his authorship. I do not want to delve into the context of the mural as it has a very deep message along with very political and other cultural nuances which I do not handle, but if you want to know more I leave here this link of a newspaper article that I got on the internet, which tells you about the writer, his works and appears as a reference to his work written this beautiful mural.


From my perspective, the mural has beautiful colors and images that denote the freshness of nature, and it carries the message "The history of Latin America is the history of the plundering of natural resources", draw your own conclusions.


In the same I managed to see captured the Instagram of 2 people @Mr.garek y @RommerWhite, I presume they will be its authors, although in the first I did not manage to get any image of this mural, in the second if but if more depth, according to the publication the mural dates from 2017 at present it is quite battered by the ravages of time but as you can see has not been compromised by human means, and still retains its essence.

Hola a mis queridos Hivers, y en especial a la comunidad de #StreetArt en la cual estoy hoy nuevamente para participar en este interesante Concurso #148 de arte callejero por acá les dejo las bases y reglas del concurso para quien consiga una maravillosa obra de arte callejera y quiera participar.

Les dejo mi participación de esta semana:🌈

Para hoy les traigo un mural que me tope en una salida a un boulevar de Caracas muy concurrido en mi cuidad, ya en otras oportunidades les he hablado de él, pero para ese momento me encontraba algo apurada y al pasar solo me devolví rápidamente a realizar unas pocas capturas y no me di cuenta que justo en el sitio donde figuraba el autor de la obra estaba una moto atravesada la cual lo oculto.


Pero para mí ese no es un problema, al llegar a casa y sentarme a examinar las capturas, me ayudé con un buscador de imágenes, conseguí el mural, sus autores y una reseña en ingles con respecto a él.


El que se encuentra plasmado en la obra, es un periodista y escritor uruguayo llamado Eduardo Galeano, este mural está inspirado en él y en diversos libros de su autoría. No quiero ahondar en el contexto del mural ya que tiene un mensaje bastante profundo junto a matices muy políticas y de otras índoles culturales las cuales no manejo, pero si deseas saber más te dejo por acá este link de un artículo periodístico que conseguí en internet, donde te habla del escritor, sus obras y aparece como referencia hacia su trabajo escrito este bello mural.


Desde mi perspectiva el mural tiene hermosos colores, e imágenes que denotan la frescura de la naturaleza, y el mismo lleva consigo este mensaje “La historia de Latinoamérica, es la historia del despojo de los recursos naturales”, saquen ustedes sus propias conclusiones.


En el mismo logre ver plasmado el Instagram de 2 personas @Mr.garek y @RommerWhite, presumo que serán sus autores, aunque en el primero no logre conseguir ninguna imagen de este mural, en el segundo si pero si mayor profundidad, según la publicación el mural data del año 2017 en la actualidad se encuentra bastante aporreado por los embates del tiempo pero como puedes observar no se ha visto comprometido por medios humanos, y aún mantiene su esencia.
