St Joseph feast 2026

As we celebrate the labor day, we also celebrate the St Joseph feast. According to the homily, there's 2 feasts for St Joseph. One being the father figure of Jesus, the other being the hardworking carpenter.

My mobility regained a lot since the medical episode. I have also increased my speed to below 10 minute per kilometer. I guess I do quite well compared to many other healthy people. I am still using my walking stick as a standby assistance in case if I need it.

My blood pressure is NOT doing as much as I wished it would. Since I have started the medication in March, the pressure has been gradually increasing. I am NOT banging on the western medication can cure me over the long run. Whatever the western medicinal advise is always about suppression, or elimination. It's NEVER a real treat or trying to reverse any medical condition.

Hectic living lifestyle can be part of the biggest contribution to my medical condition. Before I totally stopped smoking 6 years ago, I used to hangout at the bar with my clients, doing late night drinking and I smoke like 2 packs every 3 days, not to mention the crazy amount of high cholesterol food when I entertain the car dealers back then.

So it was long waited public holiday since the Eid. My stomach isn't really prepared for something heavy, so a plate of fried vermicelli and fried egg will be enough. After that, I gulp in my aspirin and multi minerals with a glass of warm pulled tea.

Going to town early morning during public holiday was a breeze, uninterrupted 20 minutes drive. Plenty of parking space at the church compound and the guard doesn't need to pay extra cautious to officer goer that taking advantage of the church parking.
