A laser-focused way to use Threads: Check out the Hiver's profile page on the alpha site!

Discovering Threads, especially on the alpha site, is like exploring a new playground as a kid.

First, friends there told me I can post anything, and not be restricted to necessarily anything related to finance or crypto. Then my unfettered shit-posting ensues.

Then you can imagine others had been doing the same and then you see threads of everything under the sun.

I don't mind it actually.

The fact that I can scroll through many threads quickly and decide how I want to use my time on them is great. Much better than having to watch through a few seconds of TikTok before deciding to move on to the next. I feel Threads is potentially less of a time waster than say TikTok. I can give a few upvotes or comment to interact with others based on what I saw, and stop if I wanted to.

I actually stopped scrolling through Threads to bring you this post. I was initially pondering the following question aloud through a thread:

Then I clicked through the replies and read some responses. I don't know what got to me, but I clicked their profile pages and found the impetus to write this post!

Now, the profile page of fellow Hivers is where I think the real fun of Threads is!

Look, I found something new and fun in the playground!

There you can read all the Threads written by the specific Hiver.

Let me just say that it is quite intriguing to read these Threads without any context. It makes me want to read more, and I will go back to the original Thread to discover what was it about.

In a way, the display of all of the threads one had ever made is an invitation to come into the mind of the specific Hiver. It allows us to get to know the Hiver better.

You bet it's also easier to upvote their threads as it's all in one place!

This brings about a new dimension to Hive never seen before, except perhaps in dBuzz: Hivers can build their persona based on threads and monetize it!

Moving forward, as I go through the free-flowing slew of Threads, I will stop and check out accounts that are interesting and further get to know them better from their profile page.

I think this feature of getting straight to the account profile is great on the alpha site, because it is more compact and thus neater to look at. Compared to its predecessor at the leofinance.io site: https://leofinance.io/@cryptothesis/threads.
