Italy Once More - Race Weekend and La Dolce Vita! 🇮🇹

Hi everyone in this lovely community of @worldmappin! I hope you’re all doing well and have been enjoying lots of adventures these days!

I’m excited to share with you our short weekend getaway back in Italy — a little trip filled with Formula 1, beautiful places, good food, and, of course, more Italian adventures!

Sometimes, you don’t need a long vacation to make great memories. So come along as we revisit Italy once again and share a little bit of our race weekend adventure with you!

It was a bit of a gloomy Saturday morning when we left home. We hit the road at around 8 AM, and thankfully, there wasn’t much traffic yet. It made for a smooth and relaxing drive, giving us plenty of time to enjoy the long journey ahead.

While my husband was driving, I got to sit back, relax, and simply take in the beautiful views along the way.

It’s always so nice to see these beautiful green landscapes along the way. There’s something about all that greenery that feels so refreshing and pleasing to the eyes, especially during a long drive.

After a smooth journey, we finally arrived in Milan! Since we got there quite early and our check-in wasn’t until after 3 PM, we decided to make the most of our time and explore the city first.

So, once again, we found ourselves walking around Milan, taking in the sights, enjoying the atmosphere, and discovering little corners of the city. As we continued our walk, we came across the Duomo di Milano once again. No matter how many times we see it, this magnificent cathedral never fails to impress us. It’s always a beautiful sight!

After admiring the Duomo for a while, we started looking around for a nice place to eat. We checked out some of the restaurants nearby, taking a look at the different options before deciding where to have our first meal in Milan.

It’s always nice to come back to a place you’ve visited before and experience it all over again.

Until we finally decided to visit the Starbucks Roastery here in Milan!

We actually wanted to visit this place the last time we were in Milan, but it was always so crowded and packed with people. This time, we decided to take our chance — and we got so lucky! There was only a very short queue, and before we knew it, we were already inside.

And wow… it’s amazing! It’s absolutely huge and so beautiful inside. It’s such a different experience to see a Roastery up close, watch the coffee being prepared, and actually have the chance to sit down, order a coffee, and simply enjoy the atmosphere.

We were so happy that we finally got to experience it this time. Definitely worth the wait!

And then came the next day… Formula 1 in Monza!

We were both so excited because it was our first time watching a Formula 1 race live! The energy, the sound of the cars, and seeing everything happening right in front of us made it such an incredible experience.

It’s definitely one of those moments that will stay with us for a long time and become one of our most memorable adventures together.

And, of course, I’ll always be there to support the things my husband loves to see and do. Sometimes, the best part of traveling is experiencing something new together — even when it’s something that wasn’t originally on your list.

Here’s to more races, more adventures, and more unforgettable memories together!

Hope you get to enjoy this quick adventure and I will catch you on my next travel adventure blog!
