Greetings to everyone in the Music community. Today I’m joining you here to share a new musical moment with you—this video captures a truly special occasion, because yesterday, September 4, was the first time I officially performed at an event with the Cerro Bolívar Choir. It was a very rewarding day. It was also my partner Wilfredo’s birthday, and I’d like to dedicate this song by María Pancha to him—along with my sister Claudia, my mom Arelis, and my uncle Miguel—since this is their month. Their birthdays fall on different days, but I’m taking this opportunity to do so. I’d also like to send my thanks and warm regards to all my fellow choir members and to Professor Proto, who sang “Happy Birthday” for them—it was a beautiful recording and a gesture I’ll never forget. I have the video and will upload it soon.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this video of us dancing to “María Pancha,” a merengue from Margarita by Augusto Ramos, arranged by Modesta Bor. This performance took place during the opening ceremony of Ferrominera’s 2026 In-House Sports Games. The event consists of several friendly matches in various sports, with the aim of encouraging employees to participate, enjoy the games, and socialize. The opening ceremony was quite lengthy, but it was truly wonderful to see so many people united by a single purpose. You could really tell they were enthusiastic. We sang three songs, but I’ll be uploading the footage as the days go by. There’s still plenty to see. By the way, September 3 marked the commemoration of the Azores tragedy, in which several members of the UCV Choir lost their lives. We sang in June and in Caracas to mark that date. I’ll be putting the video together. It was a very moving day. Without further ado, thank you so much for stopping by.

Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Music. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo momento musical y es que este es un vídeo que registra un momento realmente especial porque ayer 4 de septiembre fue la primera vez que me presenté oficialmente en un evento con la Coral Cerro Bolívar. Fue un día bien gratificante. También fue el cumpleaños de mi pareja Wilfredo y a quién junto a mi hermana Claudia, mi mamá Arelis y mi tío Miguel les dedico esta canción de María Pancha, en este que es el mes de ellos. Cumpleaños en distintos días, pero aprovecho la oportunidad para ello. Además de que por acá envío mis agradecimientos y cariños a todos los compañeros y al profesor Proto, quiénes se encargaron de cantar el cumpleaños feliz para ellos y siendo una grabación preciosa y un gesto que nunca voy a olvidar. Por allí tengo el vídeo y voy a subirlo próximamente.

Mientras tanto, espero que disfruten de este video dónde estamos al son de María Pancha, un merengue margariteño de Augusto Ramos y con arreglo de Modesta Bor. Esta presentación fue con motivo de la inauguración de los Juegos Deportivos Internos 2026 de Ferrominera. El mismo se trata de varios juegos amistosos de diferentes deportes con la intención de alentar a los trabajadores a participar en ellos, disfrutar de los juegos y el encuentro social. Fue bastante extenso el evento de inauguración, pero bien agradable de ver a tantas a personas unidas por un solo motivo. Se notaban realmente entusiasmadas. Nosotros cantamos tres canciones, pero iré montando el material según pasen los días. Aún hay mucho por ver. Por cierto, el 3 de septiembre fue la conmemoración de la tragedia de los Azores, dónde varios coralistas del Orfeón de la UCV perdieron la vida. Nosotras cantamos en Junio y en Caracas, con motivo de esa fecha. Estaré montando el vídeo. Fue un día bastante conmovedor. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
