Fishing 🎣 in a Restaurant in Osaka Japan

We had a once in a lifetime experience at a restaurant in Osaka on a Spring weekend.
I wrote a little about aspects of the day trip to the Big City (Osaka) in a earlier post. You can check it out here by simply clicking on the link. You may ask what's so great about this restaurant? I suppose the unique thing about this particular restaurant is that the eating areas divided into different sections using the concept of large fishing boats surrounded by water. So eating in each section is like dining on the deck of a large fishing boat. Kinda like the picture you see here.
inbound7871131219518725858.jpg The added bonus and possibly the greatly appeal is that you can actually fish in the water surrounding the boats. There are many kinds of fish in different sections of the water. using fishing 🎣 rods inside the restaurant.

After catching the fish, a member of staff will beep your barcode and you can have your fish prepared the way you like it by one of the cooking staff.Of course not all fish 🐟 have the same price so be careful to check the price of the fish you try to catch before doing so.

Other Menu Items:

If you are not into seafood fear not, as there are many other food options on the menu. We sampled a few before going fishing 🎣.

Thank you for checking out this post. All the pictures used here were taken using my android phone.

Wow, what an interesting restaurant concept! Imagine being able to fish for your own food and get it served freshly cooked. That's amazing! :) I haven't seen one like this here. I guess unique concepts like this do well in Japan. It would be a great experience to try it in person :) Have a fun weekend!

Interesting indeed. It was a first time experience for me and my family as well. I suppose mothers would have to warn their children not to catch any expensive fish 🐟. I'm sure many people would like to try this even once. !ALIVE

Wow, I can relate the famous quote to the concept that the restaurant is applying.
"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."hehe. A very fun and interesting experience! But if you''re starving and you eat here, good luck to you!πŸ˜…

!lol. At first it was difficult to catch the fish. But once we followed the advice of the other customers who already caught their fish, it was pretty easy. Lol

I can see the appeal for many in this concept, and why the restaurant likely does well. I couldn't do it, though, as I feel for the fish. 😁 πŸ™ πŸ’š ✨ πŸ€™

The food looks appetizing! 😍
Oh this concept of "catching" your own food is definitely one I would like to try at least once. What did you catch?
