Journey with Unforgettable Memories

Public transportation is considered as traveling vehicles as like buses and as you all know that it’s a part of our everyday lives. Moreover, you guys know coin has two sides & traveling by bus is not gonna be good all of the time. Let’s talk about my experience of bus travelling that I have encountered most of the times during the journey. Moreover, it’s necessary to understand that every mode of transportation has different difficulties. So, by considering these things I can learn to choose that which transportation method is suitable or easier for me the most.

Anyways, I have seen people prefer having to drive their own car and in my opinion the experiences that I get from public transportation it’s more fun and worth to explore. In my personal experiences I have faced some advantages that may not be seen at first try. Now, I am willing to share with you guys about my travel experiences in public transportation.

The best thing for me in public transport is that the time and money savings. Bus transportation is much cheaper than driving by my own car and it also allows me to avoid fees of parking costs. In addition, when I would travel by a bus I can save time and money. So, yeah! it’s a big yes for me.

One day, I was travelling with my mother for shopping so, we took a public transport which is a bus. We were sitting in the back seat with long row of seats combined, then I saw a young couple came and took the seats in front of us. Then I heard that they were arguing quietly I was trying not to eavesdrop but the bud didn’t start and it was only a few inside and I could hear them. Out of nowhere suddenly that guy punched that girl in the face and slapped too hard. I got scared and held my moms hand. My mom told me not be afraid she can handle the situation. That girl moved towards us in back seat and she wanted to seat beside us so, I moved a little so that she can have a seat. Anyways, she was crying I felt bad for her. I didn’t know what I am supposed to say to comfort her. My mom asked her if she was okay then she nodded “yes” but then the guy came over and asked her to go with him and she disagreed.

When she disagreed that guy started to force her and my mother took a stand and she was having a argument with that guy. That guy was asking my mother to not interfere and my mom was saying that “then you are not supposed to react in a public place because it’s Public” also, tried to make the guy understand how he was wrong and he is not supposed to behave like this with a girl or anyone.

I saw my mom giving a great speech which made that guy apologise to us and he also apologised to that girl and then she went off with him, before leaving she thanked my mom. After that I could not wait to get off of that bus. I don’t know if that guy truly got into his senses. Sometimes, I get scared of these relationships how can some treat their partner like this and it’s totally horrible and unfair. I think this experience was a mixture of good and bad both because it started with negativity and ended with positivity. I hope he treats her the way she deserves. I know everyone is not the same and only few are like this so I can’t judge everyone for one’s mistake.

I have learnt from the incident that reacting in a public place could bring up many thoughts full of negativity so, I should always maintain myself in public place.

This type of situations I don’t face it all of the time but when I do it makes me upset I just can’t tolerate seeing people fight or having a argument. I just want some peace and hope for everyone to have it. I think I can never forget this memory of mine because of what happened in front of me is I am not used to seeing these things. But I love to travel through bus because it’s cheap and I can do savings which is good plus beneficial for me.

Sadly, these types of incidents are not that rare, I don't know why the abused girls don't go and seek help, they must have some compulsions. Love your mom for taking the stand! Say thanks to her again for teaching all a valuable lesson!

I think that they think that they can’t get someone better and they are insecure about themselves.

They are far better alone than in an abusive relationship.

I think you mom did so well to make the guy apologise. The guy should have hit the lady no matter what but I am glad he later apologised after your mom spoke to him.

Like you rightly said, there are so many things we will have to witness while in a public transport. It's now left for you to know the things to learn from and that which are of no use to you.

I am glad she took a stand I didn't want to see any type of scene creates like that guy was doing way too much beyond his boundaries. He got what he deserved I hope he learns otherwise that girl must find her way to the right path.

What if he just apologised because he wanted to leave the bus with thr girl? Things like that happen though and his actions showed that this wasn't the first time. I wonder what the girl was still doing in such relationship

Some people just lack total self control when in public. They do all kinds of rubbish and expect everyone to ignore them because it's a free country. Your mom did a great job! Not everyone will choose to stand up for the lady like that. Some will prefer the path of least resistance, ignoring the lady.
You've done well!

Let the lady know what she is going into before it is too late. A man that hits his woman,? Let alone publicly? He doesn't deserve her.

I hope soon she will realise that She is not meant to be with him but someone better.

Oof, definitely not something I'd stomach easily. I seriously dislike domestic violence and reading about what the guy did struck a nerve. I truly hope the guy learnt his lesson, but one can't be sure.

Thanks for sharing.

Remind me a little bit of my son when he was in grade 8. He came home and told me that when he was on the playground sometime kicked him, pushed him and called him some names. I asked what he did and he said "I stood up for myself....I punched her back".

I heard the word "her" took a deep breath and had a talk with him. Son hitting a girl (or woman) NEVER ends well.

He protested because he didn't start it... but the fact remains some things men just shouldn't do.

I know most of the responses here have been negative towards the man and I understand and respect that. He should have found a better way to behave.. especially in Public. I also applaud you mom for doing what is right and standing up for the beaten woman.

I am curious what the circumstances were behind the story. Some men are just terrible and a discredit to their gender. Abusive just because they can be. Sometimes.. just sometimes.. there can be more than we see going on.

I'm not saying he was right in hitting the lady. It's tell him what i told my son-- hitting a woman is never the answer regardless of who started it.

But perhaps before we judge someone harshly it would be better to know all the facts.

Thanks for posting. Enjoyed the article 😉

I don't know who was wrong the fact is that it looked horrible how he was bashing her in public bus. Everyone was staring at them and surely she was embarrassed and hurt. I would have taken a stand if my mom didn't. Because it could not tolerated in front of the eyes.

Thanks for the appreciation 💖

In Canada I would have dialed the police and the man would be jailed. Indeed the train I took this morning has a "panic" button for quick police response.

I'm glad you and your mother have strong enough conviction to help those in need but remember to keep yourself safe.

Over here Police does not like to involve unless it's beneficial for them sadly.

Of course I will stay safe thanks 💖

I agree with you that public transport is good for saving money but I feel it's time consume more than private transport.
Such kind of situation is very normal in recent days in public places but I think we should not interfere in that kind of situation until anyone asks for help. Your mother was a woman and that's the reason nothing happened but if the same thing is done by a male person the situation could be the opposite and I am saying confidently about it.

I live in the Philippines and I do not own a car. There is so much public transportation here, it is not really necessary. It is inconvenient at times, but usually not.
I have never experienced anything like what you did on public transportation. I'm glad your mother was able to defuse the situation.
