📦 Overloading Cargo, The Booger Gang & Moto Burnouts 🏍️

     The OVERLOADED MOTOS OF PHNOM PENH are a common site for some folks, and although a lot of the cargo rigging is not up to code, it's a playful challenge to see just how overloaded one can get a bike without the items toppling over.

     Recently this has become a fashion statement, a bit like owning an SUV in a western country. When two overloaded bikes pull up to a stoplight, each driver sizes up the competition, and whoever has the more massive load is the machismo winner. Anyone whose cargo hits the road is automatically disqualified.

     BOOOGS ARE BACK, aka The Boogers street gang of Da Nang, Vietnam. Nobody's nose is safe when this notorious group of hoodlums is on the loose. They've got a craving for boogers, so don't be found on the street at night any nose nuggets.

     The Boogs have been known to rip a whole nose off a person's face just to get at the precious boogers inside, and even the authorities have no idea what the illicitly obtained nose balls are used for. If your motorbike shows signs of being ridden on a dusty road, you could be targeted as the noses of such motorbikes' owners are usually filled with dustboogers.

     In Malaysia a FATHER/ASEAN HIVER HAS BEEN DOING TOO MANY BURNOUTS, and now it's time for new tires. Anytime a red light turns green this guy roasts his back tire and fills the air with smoke, and his wife certainly doesn't condone this kind of behavior.

     I can sympathize with this guy though, for I too am always trying to get my tuk-tuk to pop a wheelie, but I can't do it without some heavy cargo in the back. My wife doesn't appreciate my wheelie attempts, but still I try to stay young with the occasional adrenaline burst.

     The new rear tire he is buying is designed specifically for roasting rubber, so hopefully it will last longer and allow to create clouds of smoke without his wife noticing greater than average tire wear.
