April 1st, 2023This week I was surprised by a massive delegation increase on behalf of @pinkchic, all the way from 100 HP to a whopping 550 HP. She's officially a GOLD VIP member, joining a small but elite group of heavy metal ASEAN Hivers. Also an in-law of mine who's more or less given up on Hive blogging, decided to offer his unused 247 HP, so we thank @phuong.sitha for that even if he isn't active on Hive anymore.
There were a few new small delegations worth mentioning also, although none of them large enough to reach 50 HP and become a BRONZE ASEAN Hiver. @adiiba delegated 10 HP and @travelr78 delegated 3 HP, and that reminds me I should mention that no delegation is too large or small because all HP is used to support ASEAN Hive content.
Okay, that about does it for this week. Be sure to keep an eye on @pinkchic, there are only 8 GOLD VIP members, so I expect to see her in the winners' circle very soon. The rainy season has arrived here in the Cardamom Mountains of Cambodia, and as I write this post I can barely hear the music coming from my earbuds because the rain on our tin roof makes even conversation impossible.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 127,779, and total delegated HP is 117,901 HP (81,676 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
