April 20th, 2021Delegations are up this week, and it coincides with my wife and I making the last trip to move some things to our new place. We longer have to make daily trips to transport goods, and now this will give me time to catch up on ASEAN Hive things, well at least now that the power outage is over. That is life in Cambodia I guess, but let's get into the raffle now, better late than never.
@luueetang upped his delegation to a whopping 700 HP, putting back on top of the SILVER VIPs, and therefore most likely to win the silver raffle. @positivesteem increased his delegation to 550 HP, very generous considering he's relatively new to our community, what a legend. @phuketwebmedia started his delegation with a monstrous 500 HP, full power to this gentleman. @idayrus upped his delegation to 250 HP, as well as @alvonsohiver. As usual, @rosmadirazali kept his slowly increasing delegation growing, now arriving at 212 HP. That sums up the delegation activity, a flurry of activity this week, so let's see the raffle winners.

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @kidsisters, & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP 🥉 BRONZE Raffle.
There are four separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
This week's total effective HP is 77,549, and total delegated HP is 73,997 HP (50,351 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
The more you delegate, the greater your chances are to win, and this weekly raffle is just a fun way to reward supporters of Southeast Asian content on Hive.

Congratulations to all the winners. It is good to see the delegation growing. Increasing the amount of Hive Power will enable more to be done to develop this community.
Little by little and by grassroots means, that's the way to build a sustainable community. We're all in this together.
Congratulations to the winners, you have done an amazing thing for this beloved community, I also want to increase my delegation, but it is hampered by my low hive power, actually I understand very well that there are several ways to increase hive power, you can do it by doing power up or buy hives in the market, but I haven't been able to do that, hopefully there will be big sustenance that God will give and I will do that, I'm actually ashamed of my small delegation, but I will continue to fight and give the best for this community.
Step by step you will surely build up your HP. Focus on reaching 500HP, that is a very good first goal. I still always recommend not to delegate any HP until you reach 500 HP yourself. With 500 HP you can reward your commenters a bit and also give an upvote big enough to land in the notifications of Hivers whose posts you vote on.
