The immediate impact is that it will really impacted one's phycology, either they will take side, support and sometime take part to a war that they never have any close connection.
War for me is always bad because it is sometimes just the ego of the leader and sacrificing the ordinary.

Of course it's bad, always an intense conflict (whether internal or external), will continue to produce a huge wave of negativity that will spread throughout the planet - nobody wins anything at all. Reporting globally, the problem is that such things keep repeating every year, even every time - someone produces that negative movement.
