Hope everyone had a great day! Last Saturday was a super busy but very meaningful day for me. I took a bus down to Our Tampines Hub in the morning to do some volunteer work for a SaferSG event.

希望大家度过了美好的一天！上个星期六对我来说是超级忙碌但非常有意义的一天。早上我坐巴士去Our Tampines Hub，为 SaferSG 的活动做义工。

It was a wonderful night filled with delicious food and great company.

那是一个充满美食与欢声笑语的美妙夜晚。

When I arrived, I noticed that the entrance to the huge football field at the Town Square was open. I couldn't resist walking in to have a look and take some pictures of the empty stadium.

我到达时，发现市镇广场大足球场的入口竟然开着。我忍不住走进去看看，拍了几张空旷体育场的照片。

Look at that beautiful green field!

看看那片美丽的绿草地！

The weather was slightly overcast, which made it quite cool. You can see the Festive Arts Theatre banner clearly on the other side of the stadium. It's not often you get to walk right onto the pitch like this.

当时的天气有点阴，所以感觉挺凉爽的。你可以清楚地看到体育场另一侧的节日艺术剧场（Festive Arts Theatre）横幅。能像这样直接走到球场边上可不容易。

After that short detour, I headed inside to find the event space for the SaferSG event.

短暂闲逛后，我便往里面走，寻找 SaferSG 活动的场地。

From the upper floor, I could see the colorful setup below with rows of bright orange and green chairs.

从楼上往下看，可以看到五彩缤纷的布置，一排排亮橙色和绿色的椅子已经排好。

The "SAFERSG, TOGETHER" main arch was already set up nicely near the entrance.

入口处已经搭好了漂亮的 “SAFERSG, TOGETHER” 主拱门。

I reported for duty, and they even provided breakfast for us. Yay for free food!

我去报到后，主办方还为我们准备了早餐。有免费食物真开心！

I did a quick round to explore the booths before my shift started.

在工作开始前，我先在展位周围逛了逛。

During lunch, I visited the photo booth to snap a fun souvenir photo.

午餐时间，我还去拍照亭拍了一张有趣的纪念照。

Then grabbed my lunch box.

然后才去拿我的午餐盒。

After my volunteer shift wrapped up, it was sports time! I headed to the club to play some pickleball. But before starting, I visited the poolside cafe which had just moved back to its original location after some nice renovation.

义工工作结束之后，就是运动时间啦！我前往俱乐部打匹克球。但在开打之前，我先去了刚翻新好搬回原址的泳池旁咖啡厅。

They were offering free coffee and tea for their opening weekend, so of course I had to grab some!

配合开幕周末，他们免费提供咖啡和茶，我当然不能错过啦！

After that, I played four intense games of pickleball and had a refreshing shower.

之后，我打了四局激烈的匹克球，然后冲了个凉，整个人清爽多了。

To end the perfect day, I met up with my pickleball friends at a Chinese restaurant at Raffles City for dinner.

为了给这完美的一天画上句点，我和匹克球的朋友们去莱佛士城附近的一家中餐厅共进晚餐。

One of my kakis invited us to celebrate his 40th wedding anniversary.

我的一位球友邀请我们一起庆祝他结婚40周年。

It was a wonderful night filled with delicious food and great company.

那是一个充满美食与欢声笑语的美妙夜晚。
