Vater Sohn Fahrradtour Isarradweg Deu/Eng

Hallo liebe Hiver,
herzlich willkommen zu einer weiteren Vater-Sohn Fahrradtour. Wie immer in den Sommerferien und wie immer nur mein Sohn und ich. Das sind Erfahrungen, die einem keiner mehr nehmen kann. Diesmal haben wir den Isarradweg von Plattling nach München erkundet. Das waren ca. 160 Kilometer in 3 Tagen. An- und Abfahrt natürlich CO2 sparend mit der Bahn im Fahrradabteil.

Gestartet sind wir bei bestem Wetter im bayerischen Plattling, nahe Passau mit Blick über die Isar auf die Alpen.

Hello dear Hiver,
welcome to another father-son bike ride. As always during the summer vacations and as always just my son and me. These are experiences that no one can take away from you. This time we explored the Isarradweg from Plattling to Munich. That was about 160 kilometers in 3 days. Arrival and departure of course CO2 saving by train in the bike compartment.

We started in the best weather in the Bavarian Plattling, near Passau with a view over the Isar to the Alps.

Gut mit Sonnenmilch eingeschmiert ging es bepackt mit unseren Rucksäcken vorbei an verfallenen Brücken.

Well smeared with suntan lotion and packed with our backpacks we went past dilapidated bridges.

Und gemächlich an der dahinplätschernden Isar entlang.

And leisurely along the rippling Isar.

Abends hatten wir uns unsere zünftige bayerische Mahlzeit in Dingolfing redlich verdient. War ein wirklich heißer Tag.

In the evening we had really earned our hearty Bavarian meal in Dingolfing. It was a really hot day.

Am nächsten Morgen ging es dann über Landshut weiter nach Moosburg. Landshut war traumhaft schön und für eine längere Pause gut.

The next morning we continued via Landshut to Moosburg. Landshut was fantastically beautiful and good for a longer break.

Unterwegs war auch immer mal wieder ein wenig Zeit, uns in der kühlen Isar zu erfrischen. Handtücher haben wir vorsichtshalber immer dabei.

On the way, there was also always a little time to refresh ourselves in the cool Isar. As a precaution, we always have towels with us.

In Moosburg gab es dann zur Belohnung das Lieblingsessen meines Sohnes: BURGER

Nach einer erholsamen Nacht ging es dann auf die letzte Etappe nach München. Unterwegs war immer wieder mal eine kleine Rast an der Isar angesagt.

After a restful night, we set off on the last leg to Munich. On the way there was always a little rest at the Isar.

Und auch spektakuläre Brücken in allen Formen gab es immer wieder zu bestaunen.

And there were also spectacular bridges in all shapes to marvel at again and again.

Wunderschön war auch die Fahrt durch den englischen Garten.

The drive through the English Garden was also beautiful.

Um dann in den Trubel der bayrischen Hauptstadt einzutauchen wo wir am nächsten tag mit dem Zug in Richtung Heimat entschwanden.

Then we dived into the hustle and bustle of the Bavarian capital, where we took the train back home the next day.

Ich muss wirklich sagen, dass war eine unserer schönsten und entspanntesten Touren. Werde ich sicher mit meinem kleineren Sohn wiederholen, sobald er die Strecke schaffen kann.

I really must say that was one of our most beautiful and relaxing tours. I will certainly repeat with my younger son as soon as he can manage the route.
