Let's have fun, share our visual memories from our travels, enrich the STEEM community and earn along the way!

What is Travel Photography? It is that type of the Eight Art where we capture culture, people, landscapes, objects, cityscapes, customs, traditions, events, history, etc. and we express our feeling of the time and the place we visited. We all love it, right? ;)

Rules:

  • Comment under this post with one travel photo:
    • Only one entry per participant
    • You have exactly 24 hours to participate
    • Use ONLY your own original work, photos will be checked and plagiarism will be flagged and reported
    • No NSFW images
    • Adding your personal touch, a short story, the location, EXIF data, etc. is not obligatory but will definitely make your entry much more appealing and increase your chances of success ;)
    • If your comment contains more than one image I will consider only the first one. You may create a separate post with your photo if you wish, of course!
  • No Upvote, No Resteem, No Follow required. Of course, all the help and support you give is greatly appreciated and absolutely voluntary.

As you probably know, I am a professional photographer, so please show me your good stuff, I will be looking for things like story-telling, composition, quality, etc. May the best win!

St.Petersburg, former known as Piter... a piece of an old town (back to 1980-es). unlike the fashionable 'parade' face of the city, this shows the everyday life... there are common people living here too! not involved in any fashion industry tourist business...

yea, I love untouched parts. if you will happen to be on a visit to St.Petersburg, I can direct or guide you, just ask :P
unfortunately they are disappearing, less and less each year. nowadays the city isnt like it was even in 90-es...

The only photos I've seen from there taken by people close to me are those of a friend photographer who has a friend there and black and white photos taken by mom and dad when it was Leningrad.
Thank you! I have plans for a photo trip there, I missed two already, organized by our photo club...

I have tonns of others pics I obviously cant share here... or idk how to do that without getting 'issues'

I hope I have done this right. This is my first time using Steempeak and entering this contest, so am not sure if I am doing it right! I love photographing lone trees. I came across this one (although there are a few in the background too) on a walk from our resort on Huahine and loved the contrast with the lagoon, sky and grass. The image doesn't have a separate post, but is part of a post I wrote a couple of days ago about my walk. Taken with my iPhone 8Plus.

It doesn't seem to show up with the link. I guess I have some learning to do!
