Authentic Bika Ambon, Jakarta-Indonesia

Hello, foodies!
Indonesia has many varieties of authentic cakes, one of them is bika ambon. Bika ambon came from North Sumatra. It made from tapioca flour, eggs, sugar, yeast and coconut milk. It had sweet and tasty flavour. Although, it came from West Sumatra, but you could also enjoy it here in Jakarta, the capital city of Indonesia.

One of my favorite bika ambon store is Rica Rico. It had many stalls in some shopping center. Yesterday, we saw the stall on 3rd floor ITC Fatmawati, South Jakarta.

In all of its' branches, the stall was just ordinary like this one.

Their menu

They also had brownies and also peanuts, but like its' name, the speciality here was bika ambon.

They had 2 kind of the bika ambon, the yellow one was original and the green one had pandan flavour.

We bought a bika ambon medium size with only 20,000 IDR or only around 1.47 USD. You could ask the seller to cut it for you too.

Like usually it was super tasty. It had a good smell, sweet, tasty, chewy and also soft. We always love it!
