Yakiniku Dinner with Friends

Hello, foodies!
On Monday Evening, our division had a dinner together in one of all you can eat Japanese restaurant which was located in Cakrawala Tower, Djakarta Theater - Central Jakarta.

Here was how the restaurant looked like from the outside

An old japanese yakiniku all you can eat restaurant with a large dining area. Good thing was when we came at around 6 pm something, it was still empty... no customers around.

After dropped our bags in our room (the private room was located behind, it only had glass partition and had two big tables for all of us), then we went to their food areas.

The Food Buffets area

You could take as much as you could eat here, but they would charge you if you didn't finish what you had taken. They had many food here from beef sliced to dimsum to dessert, chose what you liked freely.
Some raws to grill, some ready to eat, appetizer ,dessert, and also beverage buffet.

Cause we were in Indonesia, they also had some Indonesian dish, one of it was oxtail soup. I took this soup first.

It had savory and a bit spicy taste (from pepper they put inside when they cooked it).. The oxtail was quite soft and also tasty.

Also i took a glass of orange juice which was so fresh.. Then some raw sliced beef and shrimp.

For a table, they had 2 large grills.. So we had to share cause each small table had 6 chairs around.

We then grilled the beef and others.

The beef were not too soft, they contained some fats which i didn't like. The shrimp were fresh and not too large while the fish was so fishy... A friend let me try it, but i didn't like it. And also a friend next to me tried the spicy beef or chicken, but it were not that spicy at all.

The dining area was crowded since many customers came.

Then i also went to the steamboat area to have some balls and get them ready, they had 2 kind of soup, chicken broth and also tom yum.

My choice was chicken broth, as always. The waiter took only 5 minutes to cook it.

It had savory flavour. All the balls were fresh (i chose beef meatball, fishball and any others). I liked it.

I took some sushi rolls too

I also loved their sushi, although i didn't recognize some the fillings but i really liked their sushi roll. I took a slice for each variant. They were all so yummy!

Also there were shewmai, which tasted savory and sweet.. with the sour and a bit spicy sauce.

I also tried their chocolate pudding but it tasted just so so...

And sadly, i lost the chance to try their fruit salad cause when i came again, it was empty and they didn't refill it.

We had a great time together here although the food was not the best i ever tasted and it was not cool here since we had many grills around.. I think they supposed to make the dining area cooler.

The Price
For a person here, it costed 150,000 IDR or around 10.87 USD.
