Bali Food Guide - #45 Warung Kono, Canggu
Just recently we´ve had a very cheap meal in a local restaurant called Warung Kono. Here on Bali, as well as whole indonesia it´s pertty easy to get decent food for a cheap price, you just need to eat where the locals eat.
Erst kürzlich hatten wir eine sehr günstige Mahlzeit in einem lokalen Restaurant namens Warung Kono. Hier auf Bali und in ganz Indonesien ist es sehr einfach, gutes Essen zu einem günstigen Preis zu bekommen. Man muss nur dort essen wo die Einheimischen essen.
Like in every other warung, everything was very basic and far from fancy like all the other restaurants. The menu offers some of the delicious balinese specialties. Nasi Goreng, Mi Goreng, Gado-Gado and so on...
Wie in jedem anderen Warung war alles sehr einfach und alles andere als schick wie in allen anderen Restaurants. Die Speisekarte bietet einige der köstlichen balinesischen Spezialitäten. Nasi Goreng, Mi Goreng, Gado-Gado und so weiter ...
On this day we both ordered one of the cheapest dishes on the menu. A Nasi Pecel, which is a portion of rice, steamed greens (similar to spinach), tempe manis and a super delicious peanut sauce. We added fresh squeezed orange juice which is always good here on Bali.
Two Nasi Pecel and two Orange Juice have cost us 50.000 Rupiah which is around 5 Dollar or 3 Euro. It doesn´t get much cheaper and it was very good and filling.
An diesem Tag bestellten wir beide eines der billigsten Gerichte auf der Speisekarte. A Nasi Pecel, eine Portion Reis, gedünstetes Gemüse (ähnlich wie Spinat), Tempe Manis und eine super leckere Erdnusssauce. Wir haben frisch gepressten Orangensaft hinzugefügt, der hier auf Bali immer gut ist.
Zwei Nasi Pecel und zwei Orangensaft haben uns 50.000 Rupiah gekostet, was ungefähr 5 Dollar oder 3 Euro entspricht. Es wird nicht viel billiger und es war sehr gut und sättigend.
