What is your favourite Steem-Engine Token?
The Steem Ecosystem has been immensly enriched lately thanks to steem-engine. It is now possible to create tokens very easily and it is not surprising that the number of tokens has skyrocketed on steem-engine.
My dear friend @crypto.piotr pointed out in a comment that I haven't posted anything for more than 2 months. Thanks my friend for reminding me to post from time to time ;-). I've been quite active on steem but not in the usual sense. I've been collecting coins while playing... I've become quite addicted to the game steemmonsters (newly called splinterlands). If you haven't joined this game you are missing out tons of possibilities to make steem. My favourite token: The dark energy crystal (DEC)
Since the last major update of Steemmonsters a new feature was added that drastically improved the game and the earning potential: the dark energy crystals. This is a token that is traded on Steem-Engine.
How to earn DEC
It is very easy to earn DEC. You simply have to play ranked Steemmonsters games. So you get tokens simply for playing. The amount of tokens that you get however depends on a lot of factors:
Your ranking (the better the ranking the more you earn)
The number of games you play a day (the more you play, the less you earn)
The cards that you use (alpha, promo and gold card give you bonuses)
The number of games that you win in a row (the longer your serie, the more you earn)
Another way to earn DEC is to „destroy cards“. Every card has a fixed value in DEC. If you destroy a card, you can get the according DEC. This is actually a great feature because it allows to stabilize the price of the cards as well. Their price will never fall below the according value in DEC!
What to do with your DEC
With your DEC you can do a lot of things:
You can buy orb card packs
You can buy potions which increase your benefits
You can sell your DEC on Steem-Engine and get Steem
Use DEC to upvote your posts!
DEC are not only useful for Steemmonsters players. You can actually use the DEC to increase the value of your steemit posts! You can send 100 or more DEC to @splinterlands over steem-engine which functions as a bid-bot. Your post will get upvoted by the @steemmonsters main account. Read here the detailled instructions. The ROI of this bot is amazing because the value of the DEC is calculated in your favour so it is worth to buy DEC on Steem-Engine just to use this bid-bot. I've invested 200 DEC (= 0.46 Steem) to upvote a post and got a 0.38$ upvote ! By the way a big thanks to @hendersonp who showed me this opportunity. He is quite the steemmonsters specialist and he is able to earn between 100 and 200 steem a month with this game!
Between us... I will invest around 1000 DEC to upvote this post, so there might be an interesting curation reward... ;-)
What is your favourite token? Or which tokens do you actively use?
No doubt my favorite token is DEC, but there are several that are also very good, like (jjm) if you are holder of this token you vote 1 post daily depending on how many token you keep, the token of pal is also quite interesting and launched an airdorp you already claimed them?

Can you tell me more about jjm? Is it similar to palnet? How did you get 1600 coins?
The token jjm wins them by being champion in a tournament, (the best prize so far) they give 1% of the vote of the account @ virus707 (every 1000 jjm adds 1% more daily vote), I think it's good only if you publish daily

they went up a lot of price because the account of @ virus707 has raised its SP a lot, when I won the tokens they had 500k SP right now they have 700 K of SP

Thank you for your comment. I understand that this game is not everybody's cup of tea and it's true that you need to invest money first to get started. However I believe it's worth wile ;-)
I loved Steemmonsters. But due to the economic situation, I have not been able to invest in cards. I do have about 15 cards that I won at Giveaways.
I read your post and I would love to participate in the games. But I have to buy food, it's a priority. But when I have the stability I will enter the game.

I've always thought about what I'd do if I created a token.
Actually I've created it already 3 months ago when steem-engine was quite new. It is a kind of STO. There is a underlying steem account @happyvoter. This account is just there to sell upvotes and get curation rewards. If people buy a token they actually help to increase the SP of the account and to increase the potential income. So every token holder is part owner of the account. If you own more than 2% of the tokens in circulation you get systematically upvotes to all your posts ;-)
You can buy and sell these tokens on steem-engine. There is even a buy back programm so that every week the account buys back a certain amount of tokens to create a liquid market. At the moment I'm just updating it. Thats why there is no sales price. It will be there in an hour.
It makes a ROI of about 18% in steem. It's a kind of investment vehicle.

And is it very laborious to do that work? I mean to link as STO token with a Steemit account and also serve to give upvotes? Surely it is necessary to program some software in some difficult language...

Actually it doesn't take that much time. I make one update a week and use beta.steemvoter to give the upvotes. I've some spreadsheets that are doing the maths for me ;-). So it's about 10 minutes work a week.

Friend @achim03, interesting publication, I do not really manage many steem engine tokens, only a few that I have received some reward, I really do not play steemmonster in principle for the investment that is needed and I do not know if this absorbs you a lot of time, but I'm tempted to start.

You would decide how much you want to play and how you want to develop your deck. In addition to the 50% of the DEC's that you earn, I would only ask that you would transfer me your cards if you decided to stop playing the game.

I think it's a good idea ... The 50/50 division will last as long as you decide to play or have a stipulated time limit?
It's a bit difficult to set a time limit because it depends how much you play and how successful you are. I suggest that we keep the 50/50 split till I've my initial investment back. Then we could set it to 90% for you and 10% for me. The split would only be for the Dec. You keep 100% of the profits from price money or the cards that you win from the beginning.
