Steem & Tron partnership / acquisition: your thoughts?

Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!

I am sorry to come up with another post today as I have a habit of posting just once per day but today was marked by an event that will probably have fundamental consequences for our blockchain and our community.

Justin Sun, a successful Chinese entrepreneur, founder of Tron and CEO of BitTorrent, just announced a partnership with Steem. The rumors have it he also bought a significant stake in Steemit Inc. (that would explain the current Steem price pump).

The news is very fresh and it is not known what exactly Justin Sun´s intentions are but from what I have seen in our community so far, there is a lot of mixed feelings about it, ranging from pure excitement to serious concerns about our future.

What do you guys think about it? If you have any relevant info or updates on this thing, please share it with us in the comment section below. I am really hungry for more info and you should be too because this will probably influence the future of us all.

Let´s trust our witnesses who are now in for some important negotiations and hope for the best possible outcome.

Boo, this is not fresh news!!! I am looking for updates like: which witnesses are talking and what are they saying? Which witnesses are willing to keep steem going? What dapps are gonna run to the tron chain? What apps dapps are saying?

This feels like day old journalism. LOL. I'm not trying to be harsh, just letting the steemleo writers know what I want them to write about.

Hmm I'm sort of in the middle. I was excited at first when I thought Justin was just buying into Steem by acquiring Steemit. But now that I've see that they want to do a swap and, it might be an issue. We could use the hype, which Justin does best as you can see with the price increase :) .. but.. I'm not sure about the rest.

Holding judgement till tomorrow's broadcast and witness reactions.

Yeah, sounds reasonable. Let´s wait. The more posts on this thing I read here, the more controversy I see :D One thing is for sure though, it´s gonna be interesting :) And the hype is real :D The Steem price is growing even today.

Oh wow, sorry if today´s news (announcement) is not fresh enough for you. And thanks for your tips on how to look for updates but as I mentioned in the text, I would rather read my friends and followers´ opinions on this thing. Btw I am not a SteemLeo writer, I just used the tag because I thought it´s to be used in posts about crypto or market in general...

Hmm, I better steer clear of the tag next time not to upset its badass moderators with huge stakes. Pardon my ignorance as I don´t even know how and where to check the hugeness of your stake but I am sure it must be filthy huge.
