Secrets of Organ Playing Week 63 – Improvisation on Picardy
I am being brave by attempting an improvisation. The tune Picardy, of 17th century French origin, is often encountered in the hymn Let All Mortal Flesh. I am playing this well-loved and often treated tune on the 1912 Richardson organ at Neutral Bay Uniting Church, Sydney.
