Ron Vara, World Famous “Macrowave Trader”

The untimely reports of my demise are premature.

I’m still just riding out the storm in the same houseboat, “The Patriot,” that I survived through Hurricane Andrew in. I’m a happy man. There’s still some Busch Light in the cupboard. I used to prefer to drink it lukewarm until I found out that that’s how they drink it in China. Ain’t no way you catch me drinkin’ beer the way they do. That place is just rife with the “seven sins.”

So I’m off to the marina to get some ice. I hope to be good & buzzy by the time the market opens.

Gonna buy some nice put options based on some of the stuff my old buddy Pete has been telling me from DC. They don’t call me the “Dark Prince of Disaster” for nothin’!

After those trades go in, then I figure I’ll paint some dragons until I catch a nap around noon. You know what I always say, “The manufacturing Dragon is voracious. The Colonial Dragon is relentless. The American Eagle is asleep at the wheel.”

Oh yeah, and buy Starbucks, I hear it’s raining in Brazil.

Don’t believe everything you read, unless it’s something I wrote of course!

Don’t worry. I’ll be back before you can say “Butterfly Effect” ten times.
