We are back to my mum's garden for a bit. There is this darker spot right under the wall from the west side. She grows some bushes there and taller trees on the side.
This is the spot to look for snails after the rain! They just love it there.
And this is who I found :) Walking around trying to find a cozy spot for the night.
(Do snails sleep at night?)
Then he just decided to run away, thus the manual focus didn't work :p
So I looked around and the whole surrounding was just stunning. From this low perspective it looks so much different.
There was this big bush of Weigela with all the red, green and dark pink colours...
And on the right some Irises started to bloom.

Looks like the snail is living in paradise.
He does... until some bird comes and eats him.
Only if he has the snail parasite that makes him crazy and crawl into view of the birds.
Oh that reminded me some program I saw about those... the snail eyes looked like a wiggly warm! Just asks to be eaten!

I didn't see those myself. Just on TV.
Then there's the toxoplasma gondii cat parasite that causes rats to be fearless of cats, then the cat eats the rats and finishes the parasitic cycle. Plasmosis can infect humans too and cause schizophrenia in extreme cases. Spooky, hence i have spiders as pets instead.
