Pictures and Mythology of the Sun

Hey dear Hive friends, first of all I wish every reader a pleasant day and hope you are all doing well! I have often written something about the moon and today I have taken the opportunity to take a few pictures of the sun which I would like to share with you.

Here you can see pictures of the sun, which is the center of the solar system around which the other planets orbit. The sun is often considered a planet, but it is a star and the closest to Earth and also one of the most important light sources. The sun is also strongly anchored symbolically and mythologically, which I would like to discuss in my post. In some of the pictures, sunspots can be seen which are dark spots on the surface which emit less light.

Matching the center of the solar system, the sun is also symbolically at the center of alchemy and is associated with gold and the completion of the great work, which is also called Opus Magnum. In Egyptian mythology, it is the god Re who is worshipped as a sun god and the sunrise is associated with the deity khepri, which is often depicted as a Scarab beetle.

While the moon is more associated with female deities, sun gods are mostly male. Surya is the god of the sun from Hindu mythology, which is generally symbolized with light and warmth. With the Incas, it is Inti which is often associated with the sun and symbolically the sun can be found worldwide. The sun can also be seen in greek mythology in the symbol of the original state of the earth, which is also known as chaos. It can also be found in heraldry in many coats of arms as well as country flags such as in Japan.

From a spiritual point of view, the sun is often associated with enlightenment and meditation and the energy of the sun can also help to open the third eye, which is known as the pineal gland. The sun is also associated with activity and energy while the moon stands more for regeneration and the forces of the night. The sun is also associated with zodiac signs and the zodiac signs can also be called sun signs.
