I decided to participate in the Hive Power Up Month (HPUM) for the first time (2022.05.01)

This is the fifth Hive Power Up Month, and I decided to participate in it for the first time. I already participated in the Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) multiple times. This is similar, but doing it every day of the month. So every day of the month is a Hive Power Up Day (HPUD).

My plan is to either Power Up at least 1 Hive every day, or set the payout method on a post to Power Up 100%. These are the two available options to participate in the Hive Power Up Month (HPUM).

Today I do both, because I Powered Up 1.30 Hive eighth minutes ago, and I set the reward method on this blog post to Power Up 100%.

Hopefully I will not forget to do either of the options in the upcoming days of the month.

Of course I also keep building my Hive Dollars (HBD) savings.

I wish good luck to everyone.

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

HIVE has not grown as much as I expected. We are still far ahead of the 11 cents we used to be at some time ago. Even after the effects of the recent bear market, HIVE has performed better than most traditional investments by several times.

Hive fell 8.69% in the previous 24 hours, and it is currently worth $0.7922 USD.

Probably nowadays is a good time to use at least a part of our Hive Dollars (HBD) to buy some Hive. I think that Hive will go above $1 USD again, if not in the near future, then in middle or long term. Either way, it takes time.

Of course this is not a financial advice, just/only my personal opinion. Hive could also fell down. Even to $0.11 USD again, and it could stay there for more than one year, depending on how strong is the bear market.

It's a nice little challenge I have seen floating around. I think I'll stick to the Hive Power Up Day and make sure to keep track of the UTC time so you don't miss a day in-between.

I often use the UTC time. I am a licensed radioamateur, and we log our radio contacts in the UTC time zone.

Thank you. Today I powered up 1.50 Hive. I am planning to power up more than 1 Hive (and/or posting 100% power up posts) in the upcoming days of the month.
