Walking the road two muleteers with maiden

A few weeks ago I traveled the natural path two arrieiros (carriers), today a route for hiking, in ancient times it was the path that muleteers or cart drivers followed to carry goods between towns and bring wheat to the mills.

Along the way, I took some photos with my camera and mobile of my faithful and very photogenic dog maiden, and thought about sharing them with the community today.

She always accompanies me on my outings, wherever I go and I like to immortalize in photographs all those moments that we spend together on a walk.

This is the Dos Arrieiros Natural Trail that begins in Concello do Carballiño, north of Ourense, which is where I live and from where I started, the road has a distance of 10 km and during the journey you can enjoy huge ancient oaks, hidden streams and a lush forest where you can find an extraordinary biodiversity.

This road bears the name dos Arrieros, a muleteer or carter is the name given to the person who was dedicated to transporting goods in pack animals, call it horses, donkeys or mules. In the Iberian Peninsula it has had a tradition of almost ten centuries.

As you can see in the shots it is a place full of vegetation and beautiful dirt roads, where my very adorable friend loves to walk, she really enjoys these walks because being a large dog it needs considerable physical activity to stay healthy. and in shape.

I decided to close the publication with this image where I was able to capture Maiden in front of the camera with her eyes closed while she rests for a moment on top of a huge stone and as always giving a huge smile.
