He owes his impressive name to his ancestors-kerzhaks. I remember Gennady Khazanov with his monologue about "sonorous surnames". "And then I took the surname Barkhudarov. Since I was one of the main figures of the "student body" (secretary, commander and "polynomial" of all kinds of academic councils and commissions), I often had to communicate with the Rector. Just in case, for those who are far from "rock", I will give a brief information. Egor is one of the "pillars" of Russian rock, together with Alexander Pantykin stood at the origins of the rock movement in Sverdlovsk. He is best known for his participation in the groups "Urfin Deuce" and "Nautilus Pompilius".

His favorite brainchild, the group "Nastya", of which his wife Nastya Poleva is the soloist, is already more than 30 years old. "Под сукно". Как ректор крупнейшего высшего учебного заведения Урала спас от КГБ "героя рок-н-ролла"

"Положить под сукно" - это такая русская идиома. То есть игнорировать какое то либо сообщение. "Игнор" - как принято у нас в интернете ))

Сами понимаете, в советские времена редко, кто мог позволить себе игнорировать Комитет Государственной Безопасности СССР, тем боле высокопоставленный чиновник, академик.

Но...

Жизнь штука простая. И рассказы о ней простые. "Виньетки ложной сути" тут совсем ни к чему.

Один поступок может много поведать о человеке. И об эпохе.

Паригорий Евстфьевич Суетин. Ректор УрГУ 1976-1993 г.г. Академик.

Впечатлящим ФИО именем обязан предкам-кержакам.

Вспоминается Геннадий Хазанов с его монологом про "звучные фамилии" . "И взял я тогда фамилию Бархударов. Как камни с горы катятся. Звонишь в организацию:"Это вас товарищ Бархударов беспокоит...И всё, вопрос решен, все "в струнку" вытягиваются.."

Ректор же обладал не только звучным именем, но и внушительной внешностью .Серьёзный мужик был.

При этом , как истинный "физик-теоретик", обращал мало внимания на свой внешний вид. В память врезались его брюки на сантиметров 10 короче, чем нужно (видимо из-за подтяжек), и разного цвета носочки под сандаликами.)

И в общении он был столь же неформален . Поскольку я являлся одним из основных деятелей "студенчества" (секретарь, командир и "многочлен" всевозможный ученых советов и комиссий ),то общаться с Ректором мне приходилось частенько.

Прокуренный кабинет (а курил он какую то шибко ядреную гадость) , пол-кабинета занимает мощная фигура Академика . Сиплый голос а-ля "Вожак" из "Оптимистической трагедии" в исполнении Всеволода Санаева (помните,"я три раза из тюрьмы бегал, я два раза сифилисом болел,а меня какая то баба...")))

И этим сиплым голосом , но при этом на удивление зычно, да так что все проходящие мимо ректорского кабинета в испуге "ускорялись", делал разнос вроде :"Новиченков, ё... твою мать.У тебя что за ху...ня на факультете твориться ?"...

Ну как, скажите, такого человека было не любить?

Тем более , что он к тому же был мудр и справедлив. А за своих студентов "стоял горой".

Расскажу один случай, о котором мне поведал не так давно во время "ностальгического междусобойчика" мой старинный приятель Егор Белкин (по паспорту мой тёзка, Игорь Николаевич)

На всякий случай, для тех кто далёк от "рока", дам краткую справку.

Егор-один из "столпов" русского рока, на пару с Александром Пантыкиным стоял у истоков рок-движения в Свердловске. Наиболее известен по участию в группах "Урфин Джюс"и "Наутилус Помпилиус". Его любимому детищу, группе "Настя", солисткой которой является его супруга Настя Полева , уже более 30 лет . Концертируют с успехом по сей день, по всему миру, в том числе и в США (ссылку дам внизу). Дай Бог им здоровья.

Я их обоих нежно люблю. В 90-е мы плотно общались, были в одной "рок-тусовке". Дружили, чудили. Со всем пылом нашей рокенрольной молодости. До сих пор вспоминаем то время с теплотой. Сейчас уже общение не то . Редкое и сдержанное. Как там у Михаила Танича :" Мы стали сдержанней и строже в неоткровении своём ..". Постарели. Вернее, постарел я. А они по прежнему "зажигают" . Рок-н-ролл живет в их душах .

В 1985 Егор создал "Группу Егора Белкина" , из которой вырос вскоре "Наутилус Помпилиус".

Егор ,то есть Игорь Николаевич, учился на философском факультете УрГУ, на два курса старше меня. Вот история от него, из нашей переписки в Фейсбуке (встречаемся мы , увы, всё реже) я решил не пересказывать, а вставить "авторский текст" из нашей переписки в ФБ, мы тогда как раз вспоминали Паригория Евстафьевича.

П.Е.С. вызвал меня в кабинет, оглядел с ног до головы (я был весьма живописен в ту пору), спросил, "Учишься хорошо?", получив утвердительный ответ, вздохнул и НАТУРАЛЬНО засунул кгб-шный листок под зелёное сукно! буркнул: "Иди учись, студент"... каково, а? крут дядька! "
