¡Bienvenidos de nuevo a mi blog, chicos! El día de hoy les traigo como de costumbre mi top musical, pero esta vez vamos a comenzar a enfocar el mismo en géneros musicales; entonces, para el día de hoy quiero comenzar estas reseñas por género musical con el género reggae, ya que ese ha sido uno de los primeros géneros de los que me enamoré cuando comencé a hacer música.
Para muestra de eso, les dejaré uno de los temas que más me ha gustado hacer en mi vida con respecto al mundo del reggae cuando tenía el nombre de ILAZRA:
Welcome back to my blog, guys! Today I bring you as usual my musical top, but this time we are going to start focusing it in musical genres; so, for today I want to start these reviews by musical genre with the reggae genre, since that has been one of the first genres I fell in love with when I started making music.
As a sample of that, I will leave you with one of the songs that I most enjoyed doing in my life with respect to the world of reggae when I had the name ILAZRA:
Entonces, sabiendo esto, hoy quiero hacer mi top de canciones de reggae en español que me fascinan de toda la vida y probablemente en otra ocasión postearé una segunda parte porque siento que tengo todavía demasiadas personas que mostrar en este género.
So, knowing this, today I want to make my top of reggae songs in spanish that fascinate me all my life and probably another time I will post a second part because I feel I still have too many people to show in this genre.
1.- Rawayana - Vocabulario Básico
En Venezuela existen muchísimos grupos de reggae buenísimos, en esta ocasión les quiero traer a uno de mis favoritos conocido como Rawayana, el cual está conformado por músicos de mi ciudad natal Caracas; su manera de hacer reggae me gusta mucho porque tienen un estilo muy particular, con temáticas bastante jocosas o como con la personalidad de los caraqueños.
Ellos tienen años haciendo música y su estilo ha trascendido muchísimo a niveles internacionales; esta canción particularmente trata sobre ese momento de coqueteo cuando estás de cara a una persona que te gusta y te gusta tanto que realente te quedas sin palabras para poder expresar lo que llevas por dentro así que solo te remites a hablarle con un vocabulario básico.
In Venezuela there are many great reggae groups, this time I want to bring you one of my favorites known as Rawayana, which is formed by musicians from my hometown Caracas; I like their way of doing reggae because they have a very particular style, with quite humorous themes or as with the personality of the caraqueños.
They've been making music for years and their style has transcended a lot to international levels; this song is particularly about that moment of flirting when you are facing a person you like and you like so much that you really run out of words to express what you have inside so you just talk to them with a basic vocabulary.
2.- Movimiento Original - Natural
Movimiento Original es un grupo que conocí gracias a mi hermano menor, ellos son un grupo de reggae y hiphop provenientes de Chile y su música en definitiva me hace feliz, me hace olvidar todo tipo de mal alrededor y enfocarme en las cosas positivas de la vida, del mundo, de la existencia misma.
En esta ocasión justamente traigo uno de los temas que más me fascinan de ellos conocido como Natural en el cuál te invitan a ser feliz, a vivir la vida y sonreír en cada momento que puedas, eso me identifica plenamente, así que por eso lo traigo para acá.
Movimiento Original is a group that I met thanks to my younger brother, they are a reggae and hiphop group from Chile and their music definitely makes me happy, makes me forget all kinds of bad around and focus on the positive things in life, in the world, in existence itself.
This time I bring one of the songs that fascinate me the most of them known as Natural in which they invite you to be happy, to live life and smile every moment you can, that identifies me fully, so that's why I bring it here.
3.- Cultura Profética - Llevarte Allí
Cultura Profética es una de esas bandas que toda persona que ame el reggae en español debe haber conocido en algún momento de la existencia, pues la manera en la que estructuran sus canciones es muy particular, son muy ingeniosos al momento de jugar con las cadencias armónicas, generalmente crean sonidos muy atmosféricos, como para entrar en trance y esa es su mística, provienen de Puerto Rico y son una completa eminencia del reggae en español, tienen más de una década de trayectoria.
Su cantante, Willy, tiene una voz que aunque no es increíblemente impresionante, es muy envolvente y definitivamente sus letras son magníficas; en este caso traigo una canción de ellos que tiene una temática completamente sexual pero descrita de una manera sutil, como si de una poesía erótica se tratara, eso es lo que más me fascina, el poder disfrazar lo explícito para crear algo hermoso.
Cultura Profética is one of those bands that every person who loves reggae in Spanish must have known at some point in existence, because the way they structure their songs is very particular, they are very ingenious when playing with harmonic cadences, generally create very atmospheric sounds, as if to enter into a trance and that is their mystique, they come from Puerto Rico and are a complete eminence of reggae in Spanish, they have more than a decade of experience.
Their singer, Willy, has a voice that although it is not incredibly impressive, it is very enveloping and definitely their lyrics are magnificent; in this case I bring a song of theirs that has a completely sexual theme but described in a subtle way, as if it were an erotic poetry, that is what fascinates me the most, the power to disguise the explicit to create something beautiful.
Bonus Track.- Lola Club - Vicio
Lola Club es una banda de reggae mexicana que nació en el año 2015, tienen una particularidad con respecto a su sonido gracias a su vocalista, el cual tiene una manera de cantar que es más usual en la música pop o las baladas y se nota muchísimo sus influencias al momento de cantarlas.
En este vídeo les traigo una de sus canciones que me fascinan demasiado como Bonus Track, a pesar de que aún no descubro la idea del vídeo con respecto a la canción, aunque pienso que tal vez pueda significar el hecho de estar ahí en exceso para una persona así te lance cosas, te rompa el corazón y más.
Es una gran canción que merece ser escuchada a todo volúmen.
Lola Club is a Mexican reggae band that was born in 2015, they have a particularity regarding their sound thanks to their vocalist, which has a way of singing that is more usual in pop music or ballads and you can notice a lot of their influences when singing them.
In this video I bring you one of his songs that fascinate me too much as a Bonus Track, although I still do not discover the idea of the video with respect to the song, although I think that maybe it can mean the fact of being there in excess for a person so throw things at you, break your heart and more.
It's a great song that deserves to be listened to at full volume.
