¡Hola, Hiver! Bienvenido a mi blog. Esta sección de mi blog básicamente son las canciones que yo considero absurdamente buenas de algún cantante o banda. Esas canciones que despiertan demasiadas cosas en mí, ya sea felicidad, tristeza o cualquier otra emoción. Prohibidas de lo buenas que son. Y son tan buenas que necesito que ustedes también la escuchen.

En esta oportunidad te hablaré de 5 canciones de Lasso. Debo admitir que se me hizo demasiado difícil porque yo amo casi todas las canciones de él. Es un artistazo.
This time I will tell you about 5 of Lasso's songs. I must admit that it was too difficult for me because I love almost all of his songs. He is a great artist.

Andrés Lazo, mejor conocido como Lasso, es un cantante venezolano que actualmente reside en México. Su sonido es una mezcla de géneros, pero el más dominante es el pop. Una persona bastante carismática y divertida, ingenioso como solo él saber ser. Si no lo sigues en sus redes sociales, te cuento que se ha hecho varias veces viral por sus videos en tik tok en donde te habla como si fueras su hermano o cualquier otro amigo cercano, con total confianza.
Andrés Lazo, better known as Lasso, is a Venezuelan singer who currently resides in Mexico. His sound is a mix of genres, but the most dominant is pop. A very charismatic and funny person, witty as only he knows how to be. If you don't follow him on his social networks, he has gone viral several times for his tik tok videos where he talks to you as if you were his brother or any other close friend, with total confidence.
No recuerdo en qué momento empecé a amar a la Lasso, creo que desde nací jajaja. Bueno, no. Me gusta desde que tenía 14 años aproximadamente. Y haberlo seguido desde hace tantos años me hace apreciar mucho más el crecimiento y la evolución que ha tenido desde entonces. Y en honor al amor que le tengo quiero que hablar de mis canciones favoritas de él (algunas, porque las amo casi todas).
I don't remember when I started to love Lasso, I think since I was born hahaha. Well, no. I've loved it since I was about 14 years old. And having followed him for so many years makes me appreciate so much more the growth and evolution he has had since then. And in honor of the love I have for him I want to talk about my favorite songs of his (some of them, because I love almost all of them).
1. De Tú A Tú
Todo cantante tiene su himno, y yo creo que esta canción es el himno de Lasso. Es una de sus canciones más reconocidas. Y para mí es una carta de amor a los soñadores. Es un canto lleno de la rebeldía de querer cumplir tus sueños. Es decir “mírame como cumplo mis metas, aunque no creas en mí. Tengo la seguridad”. Es una canción repleta de afirmaciones positivas, así que sí un día sientes que decaes y temes rendirte, te recomiendo que la escuches y cantes a todo pulmón:
"Creo en mí y en lo que puedo hacer, no hay nada que me de más fuerza".
Every singer has his anthem, and I think this song is Lasso's anthem. It is one of his most recognized songs. And for me it is a love letter to dreamers. It is a song full of the rebelliousness of wanting to fulfill your dreams. It's saying "look at me as I accomplish my goals, even if you don't believe in me. I have the security". It is a song full of positive affirmations, so if one day you feel you are down and afraid of giving up, I recommend you listen to it and sing at the top of your lungs:
"I believe in myself and in what I can do, there is nothing that gives me more strength".
2. Un Millón Como Tú
Un Millón Como Tú fue la canción que lo llevó obtener reconocimiento mundial. Junto a Cami, una cantante chilena con una poderosa y bellísima voz, te habla sobre la etapa de una ruptura amorosa donde tanto tú como tus amigos te intentan convencer de que existen muchas personas más en el mundo y que tu ex no era tan especial. Sin embargo, tú sabes que sí lo era y que no puedes dejar de extrañar a esa persona. Ambos cantan desde dos perspectivas distintas, y mientras a él sus amigos le dicen que se alegran que ella ya no esté en su vida, a ella sus amigas le dicen lo contrario,
“qué bueno que ya no estás con él”.
Un Millón Como Tú was the song that brought him worldwide recognition. Together with Cami, a Chilean singer with a powerful and beautiful voice, he talks about the stage of a breakup where both you and your friends try to convince you that there are many other people in the world and that your ex was not so special. However, you know that he or she was and that you can't stop missing that person. You both sing from two different perspectives, and while his friends tell him that they are glad she is no longer in his life, her friends tell her the opposite,

Y es que al final, una relación termina porque ya no puede más, y por inercia se empiezan a culpar los unos a los otros, pero simplemente la relación ya no pudo más. Y ya.

3. Odio Que No Te Odio
Lasso se une de nuevo a Cami, y sacan otra canción corta venas, pero buenísima 😂

Podría ser una continuación de Un millón Cómo Tú. Pero esta vez, habla del resentimiento y decepción porque nunca pensaste que la persona que más amabas y que juró nunca herirte fuese precisamente la que te hizo sufrir. Creo que es como las etapas del duelo. Aquí estaría pasando de la ira a la tristeza. Porque al principio al pensar en esa persona la odias, y odias todo lo que tenga que ver con ella, pero luego te das cuenta que realmente no la odias y nunca la vas a odiar porque aún no la superas.
It could be a continuation of Un Millón Como Tú. But this time, it talks about resentment and disappointment because you never thought that the person you loved the most and who swore never to hurt you was precisely the one who made you suffer. I think it's like the stages of grief. Here I would be going from anger to sadness. Because at first when you think about that person you hate them, and you hate everything that has to do with them, but then you realize that you really don't hate them and you will never hate them because you are not over them yet.
4. Me Arruinaste Netflix
Cuando estás en una relación es normal compartir gustos, y mucho más normal que te empiecen a gustar cosas que a tu pareja le gustan. Pero cuando la relación se acaba, todo se vuelve complicado. De esto trata esta canción de Lasso en colaboración con Micro TDH, otro cantante venezolano.
When you are in a relationship it is normal to share tastes, and much more normal that you start liking things that your partner likes. But when the relationship ends, everything becomes complicated. This is what this song by Lasso in collaboration with Micro TDH, another Venezuelan singer, is about.
Cuando terminas con una persona escuchar y ver las cosas que a ti te gustan se hace difícil porque a tu ex le empezó a gustar, y escuchar tu canción favorita se vuelve doloroso sin recordar que se la dedicaste o que a tu ex también le gusta.
When you break up with a person listening and watching the things you like becomes difficult because your ex started to like it, and listening to your favorite song becomes painful without remembering that you dedicated it to him or her or that your ex also likes it.

Una de las etapas más bonitas de una relación es cuando está iniciando. La etapa del enamoramiento, cuando no te reconoces a ti mismo, ni la forma en la que actúas. ¿Desde cuándo pones cara de tonto al ver a alguien? ¿Desde cuándo lloras viendo películas de romance, Miguel Alejandro? ¿Desde cuándo? 😂
One of the most beautiful stages of a relationship is when it is just starting. The stage of falling in love, when you don't recognize yourself, nor the way you act. Si De Tú a Tú trata de luchar por lograr tus sueños y retarte a ti mismo cada día, esta canción habla de nuestros deseos ocultos, y que en el fondo todos queremos lograr nuestras metas, ser exitosos y tener mucho dinero sin mover ni un solo dedo, y que nos caiga todo del cielo simplemente porque creemos merecerlo. Siempre me ha encantado esta canción creo firmemente que es una de las que merece más reconocimiento pero que ha quedado en el olvido.
If De Tú a Tú is about fighting to achieve your dreams and challenging yourself every day, this song talks about our hidden desires, and that deep down we all want to achieve our goals, be successful and have a lot of money without lifting a finger, and have everything fall from the sky simply because we believe we deserve it. I have always loved this song and I firmly believe that it is one of the songs that deserve more recognition but has been forgotten.

Yo AMO sus canciones viejas, y no te voy a mentir, consideré hacer un top 10 pero pensé que el post se iba a hacer demasiado largo jajaja. Entonces tuve que darme la tarea super complicada de elegir solo 5 +1. Me gusta mucho Te Veo y le tengo un cariño enorme por traerme muchos recuerdos, así como No Pares de Bailar, Sin Otro Sentido, y todas las de ese disco.

Sin Mover Un Dedo es demasiado buena, de todas las de Lasso esa es mi favorita, lo malo es que no es reconocida porque lo que más escucha la gente de Lasso son los singles.
