55 days to year 2022

Hope you guys having a wonderful weekend.

Life is not easy and most crypto people live extremely unhealthy life.
Sometimes it's worth reminding ourselves why we got into crypto in the first place and reevaluating the direction we're heading and forming a new perspective towards our crypto journey to reassure that you're still passionate about what you're doing in crypto. If we're not passionate then it's impossible to sustain for long period of time.

Since I got into crypto in early 2017, Crypto was my only life. Then Steem became my life. I could write a little book about my own crypto journey because I made many mistakes. Even though it's not easy but I'm embracing my mistakes and trying to learn the lessons from these invaluable experiences.

Any mistake is a wonderful revenue for you

-Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba

Today, I'm not talking about any mistakes or trying to tell you about my entire crypto journey. I would like to share the happiest moment in this most incredible journey.

I think it happened during October 2018, When Dlive exited Steem. I had half of my portfolio in Steem and half in various other coins. After the first initial months of exploring the crypto space, I decided that I'm gonna be a long-term value investor. Thanks to 2017 bull market and I discovered a new hobby called Steem. I was trying to take a little break to reevaluate my life priorities because my wife was pregnant with our first baby, I decided to live in Japan permanently for the first time and we've found a nice little apartment to rent in one of our favourite places in Japan. I thought I will make my active hobby Steem into some kind of investment and decided to take a break from Steem. So I delegated all my Steem power to various different Dapps including Dtube, Dlive, SteemHunt, Musings, Steepshots and Dlive. I was ready to prepare for being a father for the first time. Then all of sudden, I found out about Dlive leaving the Steem community. It was a pivotal moment in the crypto journey and I had to make a new decision. Usually, when I'm not sure what to do, I tend to go for walks. I remember it was a sunny day and I just coming out of this convenience store named 7-Eleven.

download.png

While waking away from the 7-Eleven store and looking at the bright blue sky, I felt blessings from angels. I thought to myself, I'm so fortunate to be part of this crypto revolution that's going to positively impact billions of people around the world. I made my money because all the innovators, entrepreneurs and early adopters put in the work to create this opportunity for me and many others.

Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.

If you can’t pay it back, pay it forward.

I wanted to pay back some of the people who inspired me to go all-in with crypto namely, Roger Ver, Charles Hoskinson, Andreas Antonopoulos, Vitalik Butrerin, Dan Larimer, CZ Binance and Charlie Lee. So decided to become an entrepreneur in this crypto world and focus build something of my own or helping someone who is building something.

So me transitioning from investor to entrepreneur was one of the happiest moments in my own crypto journey.

Entrepreneurial efforts often fail but good entrepreneurs don't fail

Would love to know the happiest moment in your own crypto journey.

Thank you for reading.
I appreciate your upvotes and comments.
I’m blessed to be part of this loving crypto community called Hive.

there hasn't been one. I am looking for one towards the end of this bull run. If that happens to come this time around.

Wow inspiring, I think we all can be investors as well as entrepreneurs out here on Hive, when you are spending your time and energy in writing that is actually our business and the content is what is our product.

But again we need more and more entrepreneurs out here on Hive to make it one of the best business opportunities for everyone.

Entrepreneurs take the highest risks to build something valuable for others.

In any given opportunity, we must empower their entrepreneurial efforts.

we all can be investors as well as entrepreneurs out here on Hive

That's the beauty of Hive

I used to be lucky. It’s seems to have been lost in the mix lately.

But I’ll keep grinding away.

Thanks

I think mind was retiring from my corporate job, moving out to a small rural countryside and then staring my crypto journey here on the Hive Platform. Not having to deal with all the stress of the position I had and finding the wonderful communities here has added a calmness to my life that I did not have before.

This was when I initially started buying hive with my steem, for the first time I had a means which gave me a choice as to whether power up more for curation on hive. I made the decision, powered up more a whole lot honestly I never regreted it.

I think everyone should invest a little bit in Hive. Because one day this will provide a huge shadow. As you said, the trees planted a few years ago are now providing good shade. I think Hive will give everyone a good shade at some point.

The blockchain has a strong bond that if your into it you have to be active because you need to Know what is happening every minute in crypto world, since the price is not a stable one

you need to know what is happening every minute in the crypto world

Depends on what you're doing in the crypto space and also depends on your mindset.

People who really understood the true potential value of Bitcoin and ETH early just keep accumulating and ignore the market completely.

I don't think there is one yet for me. Of course there were times I was happy due to price but my plan doesn't account for me taking profits yet so it's all unrealized at this point.

Although I think the most inspiring thing so far is the new avenue for generating an income outside the current financial system.

To everyone building in crypto, thank you! I appreciate you. Stay focused, stay creative, and don’t accept obstacles. You’re building a new financial system for all people, the foundation of tomorrow’s market. Realize the importance of your work, and how far we have come. - Erik Voorhees

Haven had Bitcoin back in 2014 and lost through some mining investment that never existed.
I took a year off Bitcoin, I like Bitcoin back then because of its concept but never knew the Bitcoin story will be what it is today.

I would have been a millionaire now because those days a BTC was quit affordable.

I found STEEM thereafter, STEEM presented the opportunity Bitcoin did in a different way, STEEM was my hope just like HIVE now.

Some of us knows the shit that happened over there when JS came on board Steemit, the victory and happiest moment for me being able to say no to censorship and opt for decentralized HIVE, and being able to move my funds from STEEM to HIVE.
This something am not used to in centralized platforms, usually when shit happens you lose you funds.

I am glad I chose HIVE over STEEM in support of decentralized governance.

Thanks for sharing your Bitcoin story. I'm sure this experience alone massively helped you to think long term.

The birth of HIVE is something we are all proud of. Unfortunately, I wasn't here with our community when all this happen but I can imagine the feeling.

My happiest moment was back in 2013 on reddit when some early adopters were going around tipping people bitcoin if you had written an interesting comment in the btc subreddit. That was my first bitcoin and the crypto community back then was idealistic and generous. Those were the days - our coins weren't worth much but the community was full of hope.

This is quite a fascinating experience.

I kind of feel the same with our Hive community at the moment. - 2021

My happiest crypto moment was when I first went to St--mfest. The reception I got was amazing considering I had never met these people before. So many knew my name already. I guess that shows I had been active. My trip was paid for with what I had earned.

I am not really out to get rich. I want to get happy :) Those things can overlap.

St--mfest (3) was also one of my happiest memory too. I had an agenda of trying to make something big happen to Dtube with the event made it difficult to truly connect with our community.

Most people have their own definition of rich life and I can certainly relate to your definition of rich.

I hope to get to more events like that. If you can meet people in person it can help to make things happen. I do find meetups to be mentally tiring as there is so much information to take in. Plus I tend to lose my voice :)

Back in 2015, my spouse sent me 0.1 btc for my birthday, which was worth $30 back then. But he sent it from his bitcoin wallet, which he'd painstakingly downloaded (took three days to download the blockchain and sync the wallet) - he did it that way because the wallet allowed him to include a message, and he typed in a short poem to me that he had written.

Anyway, that poem is now forever in the blockchain, and that is my most treasured bitcoin memory.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful crypto moment with me.

I'm happy to see you put more value on the poem written by your spouse than the financial value of BTC.

Mine was Doge from earlier this year. When everyone was memeing about Doge a few years back, I acquired some for a few dollars and they sat in a wallet gathering dust. I was taken by complete surprise when it pumped in March. It's the only coin that has done well for me. Most of the other stuff I bought turned out to be duds and I lost money on them.

There are many crypto people who got their unexpected gifts when Doge pumped.

It's the only coin that has done well for me.

As you, as we keep investing and developing our financial IQ and EQ then we tend to get luckier as the years go on.

In fact, there is no language to speak because this contented world has given me something that I will never forget. You know very well what I was and where I came from because I have been working with you for a long time. You know me well. I am Mamun. How I was
I never thought I would be able to prove myself as a successful person In this online world I never thought I would speak to people in a language other than my own.

That's the way it is for you. You've been inspiring me from the beginning. You're the funniest part of me talking to people. You're the funniest part of me. I did something.

In general, many of my dreams have come true. If I had not come to the online world by working on this online platform, it would never have been possible.

Not just #hive #steem thank you so much that I have been able to prove myself as a self-reliant person today because of your online platform.
