Season Hunt challenge - Week #7 - Bare Trees.

(Edited)

This weeks challenge is all about Bare Trees a contest run and organized by @barbara-orenya Some people might find bare trees haunting and scary but I find the loveliness in them and the characteristics of bare tree show the real heart of the tree right down to it's core. Do you know why trees loose there leaves in winter it's a simple explanation the leaves just simply wouldn't survive the cold in order this is a good thing as the leaves don't go to waste they nourish the soil allowing the tree to grow richer and stronger.

The following bare trees are a collection that I have photographed on my travels around the globe and my favorite and most interesting bare tree which had the most beautiful look I found while hiking around the Danville mountains of California in fall season.

What I mostly love about bare trees is when spring comes in and plays it's part and you start seeing those tree buds beginning to swell, and the first unfurling green leaf being reborn, beautiful new life is in the process and picking that first fruit of that once bare tree to me is just a refreshing excitement to be able to taste that first fresh fruit of that once bare tree.

Lake Del Valle, California USA is one place we when back a couple of times to hike around the East Shore Loop Trail, it was just a beautiful lake in the summer and even nicer looking in the fall season with the bare trees around the hillsides of this wonderful blue lake.

Now I am going to take you to Fraser Island which is a island in the south-eastern coastal region of Queensland, one beautiful paradise island with the most beautiful tropical blue crystal waters here you can camp on the beach front and if you have 4WD with you then you can drive and explore the 120 kilometer stretch of beach if your into 4WD's this would be one hell of an experience we just camped on the beach front for 3 nights and enjoyed the beach in the day and the galaxy of stars at night with the bare trees.

Back to Danville Town in California while at the supermarket on one autumn winter day after doing our shopping coming out to the car park we were met by this most amazing colorful rainbow highlighting the bare trees in the car park was truly a sight to see.

And now taking you to Koh Samui Island in Thailand on our many drives around this paradise island I came across these couple of bare trees in the woods which was very unusual to see bare trees on a tropical island but never the less these couple of bare trees really looked apart and had some amazing features about them the branch structures looked quite haunting and as you can see those green vines trying to cover up those naked trees giving it even more character.

Great shoots, I'm really impressed with the rainbow, that is like it divided the sky into two colors separately.

Oh, these are all so beautiful trees and it's hard to find a favourite photo, but I think it's the third image that's pleasing my eyes most: the bare tree branches pointing to the sun look amazing 😃

Thanks to your post, I realise now that I love bare trees too. Especially when spring comes, I love seeing young green leaves coming out of bare trees. They are so beautiful

You always have beautiful photos and you didn’t disappoint with the bare trees. Love the twists and turns of the one on the Danville mountain and the next one looks like you could have painted it.
