Today I was so tired I wrote 3 articles that I am going to spread across the week to free up time to boost my engagement.

It is about noon and I am sleepy but still bursting with ideas I have to pen down. Even though most of the articles are incomplete I still have something to fall back to tomorrow.

NO EXCUSES!

I have rewired my psychology and it often feels like I perform better when I am tired of trying to make excuses for myself. Something inside of me stirs up.

"Get it done!"

That's all I hear in my head.

DO THE HARDER THINGS.

This is often misconstrued with working hard. You can work hard at everything everyone else is doing and achieve a little result. On the other hand, you can exert a little effort in a task everyone else rejects and achieve great results.

For example, investing. Most people would rather save or spend their money. Fewer are willing to invest because of the risk involved and they are right. However, you are also right about trying

GET IT DONE!

You can't keep on making excuses, you can't keep on procrastinating. You have ample time to do things that would add value to your life.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT UNCERTAINTIES

Your doubts are valid; your insecurities are valid, but your inaction will be your demise. No one controls the future. You cannot worry about the things you cannot control.

Some minutes ago I was listening to an old interview of Jeff Bezos where he spoke about the cause of stress. He opined that the major cause of stress is inaction--not taking actions over things within your control.

GET IT DONE

Do something at least. One of my favorite quotes from the Quran says:

"Verily, Allah will not change the condition of a people as long as they do not change their state themselves."

You might not believe in God but this is a fundamental truth and that is things aren't going to change until people are willing to do things about it.

Life is already hard. Don't even make it harder on yourselves by staying inactive and drifting through life. Take action. Get it done. "It" represents your task, goals, friendships, relationship, etc everything you've left to be governed by chance.

MAKE YOUR LUCK

You only need to be lucky once to change your life. This presents a huge opportunity as you can play the game of numbers. If you had a million shots and you needed just one to hit the bullseye won't you take as many shots as possible? This is the game of life we play every day.

What are the things you've set out to do this week? GET IT DONE. No excuses; no procrastination. GET IT DONE.

I need to stop procrastinating and actually start getting things done.
In my tired state, I feel like I am less productive. It's difficult to actually concentrate and get things done and I end up procrastinating.
