Hi fellow Beer Lovers,

I was able to enjoy some nice brews on one of our recent trips!

Beer Saturday: Take Flights!

One of the really fun things we've been doing is just doing little staycation things nearby. We have a friend who owns a place in the mountains and they let us use it for a little getaway. It led to some really fun adventures!

One of the things we had nearby were a few breweries. I made sure to give them both a try! I was glad to see that one of the breweries that we went to was one I bought some beers from recently in my exploration of the beer scene around here. It was awesome to visit the brewery itself and give them the money instead of getting it from another company. Not the worst but certainly better giving them the money! One of the things that I kept forgetting to do when we would go out is to try some beer flights. Those are an awesome way to check out a bunch of different kinds of brews instead of committing to just one. This flight was a set of 5 so that was great. They were smaller than flights normally are but that's okay, more flavor choices!

I didn't plan on there being lots of different colors but I do remember that I got at least one IPA so that was good. I enjoyed switching things up and trying different types, it was a good time!

We went to another place the next night and I tried their version of flights. This one was 4 and they were taller which I kind of liked, felt like we got more of a deal with this one lol.

It was great to try and enjoy the flights at the breweries! I got to sample some really great beers and overall enjoy it instead of thinking if I should have gotten a different beer with my meal.

Yum, looks like fun! We haven't had a chance to get to any breweries lately, and I do miss my flights. Now it's mostly just going to the liquor store and roll the dice with a four pack!

Yeah I hear you man, I didn't even really think of flights until my wife reminded me of it lol she was like don't get just a regular beer, get a flight so you can try a bunch! I was like shit, why didn't I think of that lol our women keep us on a good path that's for sure!

oh yeah, we have some good ones. I remember my boss telling me, when I got married to Liza, "congrats Dustin, you will live a few more years now." Lots of wisdom in that guy (plus he's rich)

Wow the crypto space is really one deep dive after another. Thanks for introducing me to presearch I joined using your link and will try to create the habit of using it from now whenever I have a random search to look up or do.

Also yeah a flight of beers is a great way to explore and enjoy a bunch of different types of beer you probably wouldn't have individually explored. I personally enjoy a sweeter type of beer like angry orchid line or we have a local brewery called st arnolds that makes a lot of unique craft beers as well.

This is something I wanna try too! I did one with coffee and now I am trying out beer😁 currently still sick but I'll have em as soon as I am getting better.

I need to look into some beer tastings here in Mallorca too. Over the last years more small beer crafters have started to create new beers here...

Yep, living in Mallorca too, but don't know @abh12345. There's quite a lot of people living in Mallorca, and since I'm not so long on Hive yet, I didn't come accross him yet. I'm following him now, I hope he'll do the same with me and maybe he wants to post something in the Travel Spain Community (Hive-171037) that I've started here ;-)

That's great! He's an awesome guy, I don't know where he lives in respect to you but he's an ExPat living there which seems like you are as well. Sounds like a beautiful place for sure!
