Back when I joined Steemit, I tried a lot to promote it among my musician friends. Even got some to join and made a discord server. But it was really hard to keep them there and sharing content.
The regular social media platforms have much more in terms of instant gratification + opportunity to showcase talent then on crypto platforms.
We can get people to join, but what would make them stay? 🤔

True, I remember Alif and the music and all the circumstances made people go away. I hope we all can bring back the glory and also spread awareness. Instant gratification and crowd following like as in tik tok and such - that is there but it is short-lived as well whereas the blockchain is permanent
