Lift Up Your Head

In these times it is easy to be discouraged with a web of uncertainty covering the world. A nightmare that creeps before sleep and after. Where is the laughter and where are the smiles? They are there to be witnessed for those willing to see, but many are blind and def by the cacophony of the media.

This isn't the time to be sad, this is the time to reflect and raise your vibration. The ying can be learned from the yang. The simple things matter the most but many won't realise until they are ghost. A walk down a brim street or a white sand beach no longer taken for granted, the souls of many were stagnant and stranded in a well beneath the desert. Quench the thirst of your soul.

They want us to fear each other, be against our brother. The agenda is clear, the new world begins now. Lift up your head and inhale the essence of life and connect with the infinite. Faith is the mystic in the air, it is the art of the wise and will lead you to a cornucopia of joy in this life.

Here is a song that really gets my vibe up. It is titled lift up your head by Everton Blender. I was inspired to write a poem today while listening to this song. Also, it has been a while since I flexed my poetic side. Another inspiration was from @d-pend who continuously writes poems; I took part in his 100 day of poetry challenge when I just started on steem. The format with original photography is also inspired by him.

This song is a reggae classic released in 1994 but still blazes from speakers worldwide ( well live stream as most of the world is on lockdown for now. The world needs motivation and inspiration and I hope my words or this song lifts some spirits. Blessed love.
