In winter when the temp is below 10 degrees C I don't water them at all. Sometimes for 2-3 months even.
Then in the growing season it depends on the temperature and also the size of the pot. In hot summer it is a bit more often (even twice a week lightly), in spring and autumn every two weeks is enough. But there is no rule really. The only rule is to water them after the soil is completely dry. Smaller pots need to be watered more often than big ones as well.
