Show Me A Shadow Round 171: Surprise Shadow

This is the church that I go to (from the side). It is now open daily, but on Sundays, we have Masses that are held in the Community Center to accommodate more people. And when I can, I make a visit during weekdays, like today.

As I was done with my visit, I noticed the shadows of the pews on the aisle! You see, both sides of the church have four large stained glass windows each, and the sun filters its way through it.

And as I approached the end of the aisle to exit... look at the shadow!

It's a beautiful geometric shapes of I don't know how it occured, but I like the shadows it has created!

This last photo is my entry to this week's Show Me A Shadow!

What an interesting shadow this makes! It looks like the shadow from the stained glass, but, I scrolled back up to look and that is not possible.

I am happy to see you have a church home. A peaceful haven for you. Every person's dream. Thank you for showing it off. Now, I am curious about what makes those shadows!

It's the pews, no other.
But why the geometric shape... I have no energy to figure it out, hehehe.

I am lucky. The parishioners are lucky, we have a holy priest as a pastor.

The church is basically unchanged from when it was built in 1949.

You and I are the same, @jlufer.

Have a beautiful evening, my friend!

BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL! BEAUTIFUL!
I didn't mean to scream, it happened accidentally and I let it be.
Brought back so many memories from my childhood those shadows from the stained glass.
Took my breath away!!

Awww... I feel the same as you do!
My life pretty much revolves around Sundays, holy days, and great Feast Days of the church.
Thank you, @sofs-su!

The geometric patterns made by the shadows and light-beams are amazing, especially in that last photo! Simply stunning! 😃

Sometimes the simplest things produce the best shadows.
When an object blocks part of the light, but lets part of the light through...
It is stunning, sis!

Churches are some of the most beautiful places @silversaver888, and why shouldn't they be, they are God's house!! 😀
I see that every other pew is closed off, good to see you are being safe my friend, take care!😀

Very nicely done, sis! Are the windows at a different angle as you go further into the church? Maybe that was the reason they were different.

If you get the chance, please take a picture of the church towards the ceiling. I like to view church architecture, lol! Take care and thanks for sharing my dear!🤗😘💕🌸

It's funny what one sees when they take a moment to look down. hehe. Awesome shapes and what a beautiful floor. I love those old style tiles with the buffed pebbles. You are a true Shadow Hunter!
