Morning Run

I just finished a 6.197km running that lasted about 0hh:30mm:41ss !

Completed a run today and it was longer that I expected. As usual, I went for a 5K run but at the end of it, I thought I could still run another km. As I am preparing for a 10k (potentially) in July or August, it is logical that I run longer distances.

The park where I usually run was almost unbearable due to the morning sun that landed on my face. I had to change the route to avoid sun on my face. That is the reason I ran longer today.

May be I rested for two days and my legs were relatively fresh, I could run a long distance with relatively a good pace. It was sub 5 min/km which is very good considering my other runs. Hoping to continue this all summer.

The route where I run has many historical buildings. The photo I posted is one of the historical buildings built around 100 years ago. The beauty of symbiosis where nature reclaims its authority.

That's a good pace. Wish I could run that fast :) Nice to do it in pretty surroundings.

I don't know why but i always strive for sub 5 min per km pace 🙂 I think that's to satisfy my ego. Thanks for stopping by.

My target is to consistently achieve that pace. I can do it for a while. Was just over on today's 5km. I'm probably doing okay for my age (50+).

That's amazing for the age group. If i continue to do it for a few years, i may be able to maintain this pace when i am your age. I am not that far. Just a decade and a couple of more years separate us.🙂
