Giving In To Your Fears

Many people tend to give in to their fears, which will affect them for the rest of their life. It is not easy to be brave and not give in to your fears but if you want to become something significant in life, you have to be able to face your fears and even overcome your fears to truly get to your full potentials. It may be that you fear changing your career choice, but you shouldn't give in that fear. We are in a century where people who make the most money are not your normal engineers or doctors or accountants. The world has developed into the era of technology which has given rise to some new career opportunities such as data analyst, programmers, graphic designers, youtubers, crypto traders and so many more career opportunities. So, you shouldn't give in to the fear of trying out a new career when you are in your 20s or early 30s, but it is highly not advisable for people in their 40s and above, because learning a new skill may be too difficult for them and taking risk at such age isn't so wise, that is why you should be taking risk in your 20s and early 30s because at this age, you have the luxury of time.

Some people give in to the fear of leaving a toxic relationship which is doomed to fail in the future because they fear that they won't be able to find another relationship. A female friend of mine, called me some days back complaining about her boyfriend. I asked her why she was still in this relationship when her partner doesn't give her enough attention, does things she has warned against countless number of times(meaning he has no respect for her), so why are you still with him, I asked. She said, "Maybe he will change when we get married." That's a big joke because he is only going to get worse. I said that's not the main reason, she later opened up after I pressured her to give me the main reason and she said, "I don't want to regret leaving him and not finding anyone again, because I don't want to live a single life, all my life." She is only 27, but she is afraid of not getting married, rather she prefer to stay in a toxic relationship. She is not the only female or male, that is in this similar situation. They give in to the fear of being single and it is ruining their happiness and joy and even their performance at work. You need to face your fears and overcome them, if you want to truly not regret the decisions you make now, in the future.
