In many social media groups, a lot of information that a large number of Indonesian workers abroad are now choosing to return to Indonesia. Actually this is not a problem, if they do not return when the Covid-19 virus pandemic case.

However, because it occurs in a situation like this, the return of workers from abroad is a new threat to the community. Moreover those who returned from a country that had many Corona cases.

I have heard firsthand the expression of a regent in Aceh. He said he was worried about the large number of workers returning from Malaysia. In his area, there are around 450 workers reportedly have returned.

But of this amount, only a few were successfully detected and then carried out checks and isolation. Because many workers are overwhelming, do not want to follow the rules of handling Corona from the government, now the police are even more strict.

The police require workers who have just returned from abroad to isolate themselves independently when they arrive in the country in anticipation of the spread of the corona virus. If they do not isolation they self, the police will ensnare them with a criminal. This was applied since 4 April.

The head of the Indonesian police asked the criminal investigation squad (reskrim) police throughout Indonesia to be asked to coordinate with stakeholders related to the repatriation of migrant workers from abroad. Some of them, such as health quarantine providers, BPBD, Health Office, and Quarantine Service.
