It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman

I found this T-pin for my denim jacket from a flea market for 50 cents and I bought it even though don't know what it stands for. I'm hoping it doesn't represent anything hateful or otherwise some repugnant ideology.

I've been trying to figure out what the T means but no solution for that mystery yet.

The colors, black and silver, or black and white rule out all the things that first came in to my mind. Tesla and Toyota. Also all the versions of Finnish labor party logos and symbols throughout their history and those organisation names that have the name Tampere (city) in it. At least the ones that popped into my head.

Did try for couple of hours to find a match with reverse image search. The results of those painful hours were so wrong or thin that I'm now convinced that it doesn't work for a search like this. Even restricting it to show me only black and white or black and silver results, were poor and so far of from a simple letter T that eventually I just had to give up.

Or perhaps it's me. Perhaps it's my fingers that just can't tap tap tap or click click click the right questions with my mouse and keyboard. It would have been awesome if Google would have asked: "Did you find a match?" or "Did this help you in any way?" And after my answer: "No it didn't, you pathetic algorithm." it would have answered: "Well, it's your fault. You searched wrong."

That would have been the highlight of my day. Talking with a code or a machine, and the machine pointing out the obvious reason: "It's not me, it's you. The user is always the faulty one."

Perhaps the T in my pin isn't a T.
Perhaps it's a box-drawing character right or left. ├ ┤
Or an inverted T. Ʇ

Or perhaps it's just a simple T. A little bit funny thing about that sentence is that the word dumb in Finnish starts with a T. Tyhmä. Just a simple T.

But I'd rather represent just simple dumb ones out there than someone with obnoxious ideology. As I wrote earlier. For instance a certain Neo-Nazism group that decided to take "this side up" symbol as their logo. Well, it's not exactly the same, it's actually a modified Tiwaz rune that is named after a Scandinavian god named Týr. So now they've completely ruined this side up symbol, T-rune and arrow up for everyone else.

Should be illegal.

That.

But my T is a T, not an arrow up.

Still it worries me a little bit.

Does it mean something else what I do not want to represent?

Of course there's always the option that the T-symbol pin has superpowers and the person wearing it controls the powers. But again, what does the T stand for? Thermo? Time? Thin? Thick? Top? Thousand? Tree? I'd sure like to control temperature, time and trees but not so sure what superpowers Top hero or Thousand woman would have. Just general powers? And I'd like to stop thinking about other kind of heroes like Tacky man, Tardy woman, Tentative man, Timorous boy, Threshold girl and Tautology hero. Horrible superpowers. Besides I think I already have the tautology power, so do not need more.

Not sure if it would be cool or just nerve wrecking for others if I had Touche or ultimate Tweak powers. Using those too much would just end up me having frequent nose bleeds.

Same pondering could be done with Finnish words but I'm not going to bore you with that. Except one.

So you know Superman is also called man of steel. But what you perhaps didn't know is that steel in Finnish is teräs. And as you can see, the word starts with the letter T.

I let you make your own conclusions from that.

Which you will immediately forget every time I wear my glasses.
